MY THOUGHTS I have grown up in Howrah which was called the Manchester of India due to its vast industrial area. With time several industries have shut down, new ones have come up with improved technologies and products. I have been fortunate enough to witness atleast a small fragment of this transformation and its contribution to human life. My school being in Kolkata, I had to cross the Vidyasagar Setu daily and this caused me to observe the differences between the two cities over the years. The two cities run parallelly, yet contradict each other in multiple aspects. The skyline of the industrial zone of Howrah shows stark difference with respect to the skyline of Kolkata. With time the skyline has changed drastically, and this change has always fascinated me.The change in the urban life and space is always an intriguing topic for me which inspired me to take up Architecture as my profession. I sincerely believe that we, as conscious human beings can contribute profusely to this dynamic urban space to make life more gratifying and aesthetically pleasing.
PROFILE
I am an Undergraduate Architecture student with a keen interest in design. For me design is a way of life where every small component interacts with each other and their surroundings to create a dynamic system whose synergy and cumulative energy marks the identity of the space.

INTERIOR DESIGN
INTERNSHIP A T DEZINEB OX,MUMBAI During my internship tenure at Dezinebox, I got the opportunity to explore the path of interior design, interact with few clients over video call and understand their requirements and choices. I came across several new materials, textures and learnt about working drawings and design execution processess. As the internship was work-from-home type so I didn’t get the opportunity for site visits. Still the experience was quite enriching and a great learning experience for me.

DIGITAL AR T Digital art has been a medium for me to express my emotions with the privilege of some speciic tools and methods, similar yet distinct from h a n d - d r a w i n g s .
.e techniques are quite mesmerising and expressive and not as easy as they seem. So misconceptions like digital arts need little eeort, are complete myths.....

TRAVEL SKET C HES For me vacations and travels are the most suitable getaways for replenishing myself and the blank pages of my sketchbook. On any tour, a sketchbook and a pen is a must for me! ose quick sketches encapsulating the enigma of the place through a few strokes are extremely blissful and therapeutic for me. ese are just a few glimpses of my travel diaries. ey are mostly pen and ink works with a tint of water colour or alcohol marker.

From colonial windows to neo-classical domes, from rigid wooden louvres to the winding banks of the Ganges, Kolkata has a picturesque view all around. e sketchwalks helped me capture few such glimpses of the mammoth architectural treasure.
VISUAL AR T
A space is portrayed by the adhesive and cohesive forces between the elements present and their respective positions, energy, gravity, and form. e variations in synergy between the components creates dynamism, volume and dialogue in the space which stimulates the various senses of the perceiver or the visualiser. Diierent elements intrigue emotions to diierent degrees which make the experience vivid and invigorating for each individual without losing the identity and speciicity of the respective elements.

C ONCEPTUAL SKET C HES (PRODUCT DESIGN)
ese sketches are from the preliminary stages of a product design work. ese free hand sketches helped me in visualising the design eeectively and evolve with the nal form through the various stages of the thought process. e diagrams are schematic and only for overall understanding.
e objective was to design a cigarette box with space for matchsticks within. e target was to design it eeciently without altering the standard size of a cigarette box to a great extent and still t in the required features. e design depicts eeective use of space acc accomodating two functions and reducing space for a separate matchbox.
