WORKING IN SCHOOLS During the 2009-10 school year, UW College of Education students contributed 241,084 hours working in Wyoming schools. Students in undergraduate teacher education and certification programs spent 26,900 hours in field experiences and internships. Student teachers in elementary and secondary education methods classes and residency/ student teaching spent 166,624 hours supporting students’ learning in Wyoming classrooms. Endorsement & Certification program students worked 47,560 hours in schools across Wyoming.
