The goal of this assignment was to create an Fob for my USB thumbdrive. The idea behind what I chose to do was simple: Create an object that is recognizable, embodies my personal brand(connected to Architecture) and makes it wearable.(like the MBenz logo on a rapper’s chain) UNAPOLOGETIC AND BOLD.

Project 1: High Design - Project Name: 264 WALNUT STREET COSTA MESA, CA 92627 - ADU: Granny Flat. This was the project I did for Arch 180 (Construction Docs Class @ OCC) The process lasted a semester. I really enjoyed it because it seems something very practical, that I could actually build in the future. This project lasted a semester. For this Project I began with initial hand sketches, I then created a general massing in Sketchup. This helped me create the general forms, which I could then move into Revit to create a more detailed model, with detailed construction documents. The final step was to create a wood-framing model in Sketchup.

The Sketchup phase was very rewarding because this program is very intuitive. It allows for a quick way to visualize what possibilities lie when the site conditions meet the initial layout choices.

I think it was this three-dimensional design process that I followed which lead me to the creation of the forms and that is still so vivid in me today.
