PERSONAL STATEMENT
It is without apology that I confess Art as my passion, my one true love. Art, though deemed as trvial at times, is the creation of a masterpiece, be it architecture, a sculpture or a painting, from mere nothingness.
I am a recent graduate of the University of Technology, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architectural Studies. Completion of this degree has birthed within me a renewed sense of purpose. My desire is to take the fundamentals learnt at school and apply them at a professional level. My degree has given me a solid foundation and has created other gateways of focus, wth respect to my career choice.
I have grown increasingly interested in the field of Interior Design and I am a piece of clay ready and waiting to be molded by the hands of experienced masters of Interior Design, so that I too can one day change peoples lives with the manifestation of a desire that was once a thought.

HOUSING ENCAPSULATED WITHIN THE WIND; FORM ‘THE RETREAT - A TROPICAL PARADISE’ Designing a dwelling centered on the needs of an integrated family was the aim of this task. The retreat was conceptualized after analysis of the appointed site. Capturing prevailing winds and chanelling them in order to naturally ventillate the structure was my focus for this project. As such, my design was conceived, informed by the gentle flowing breeze of the southeast. This dynamism lent itself to outdoor pocket spaces, which bled into the open floor plan. This indoor/outdoor conversation facilitated not only natural cross ventillation, but also aided in capturing natural light. These factors added to the character of ‘The Retreat,’ sheding light and perspective on the village of Tel Aviv.

PAPINE FIRE STATION ‘THE VORTEX’ Bounded by two storey buildings to the east and west, the alloted site, which when entered seemed a dismal one starved of refresing south easterly prevailing winds and vistas.
my intention was to design a civi structure which served as a beacon for the town of Papine. In so doing, my concept was dervied.
It adopted the notion of the wind carving into the heart of the rectilinear form, thus creating a vortex around which all activity took place. The purity of the apeture generated as a result, lent itself to the creation of a void; a relief space
