YOUNG ACHIEVER Debrett’s International Young Achiever Programme is a ten-day residential training programme in London for students aged between 12 and 16. We know that the teenage years can be a challenging as well as an exciting time, when young people gain independence and face important choices around school, further education and work experience. It is a time of increased awareness and responsibility, when confidence is often lacking and easily lost. Debrett’s Young Achiever Programme is unique in focusing on the social skills rarely taught in the classroom, equipping students with the knowledge and confidence to perform to the best of their ability in the many testing scenarios they will encounter – whether that’s an interview, a social event, work experience or a networking opportunity.

The programme comprises a busy schedule of lessons, workshops, excursions and fun activities designed to develop interpersonal skills, confidence, personal presentation and an awareness of the world outside the classroom. It is a life-changing experience, during which students discover what motivates them and what their ambitions are as well as what makes them stand out from the crowd. Students will also be enriched with experiences in art, history, sport and culture and encounter others from a variety of countries and backgrounds, forming lifelong friendships.
Key Outcomes
Highly experienced tutors combine expertise with warmth and humour to deliver: Increased confidence Motivation and a desire to succeed An understanding of etiquette, emotional intelligence and soft skills Independence and leadership skills Integration with students from around the world
