Decatur Trail System Discover Decatur's natural treasures while you bike, walk, or run along the Park District's 11-mile scenic trail system. The trailways wind through Fairview Park, meander north along Stevens Creek, trace the historic inter-urban railway to the Macon County Conservation District's Rock Springs Center, and wrap around Kiwanis Park to Lincoln Park Drive. Cross-Country Skiing Miles of manicured trails take the skier through gently rolling terrain nestled between the pine trees and prairie of Central Illinois. Rock Springs Conservation Area Whenever there’s at least four inches of snow on the ground, the 2.9 miles of trails are open from 7 a.m. to sunset. Access is free.
