Loft lines. Relaxed and effortless, maximising natural lighting through oversized arched windows, high ceilings and open space, The Victorian Bathrooms Loft Style bathroom is a subtle blend of forms and finishes, reminiscent of lofts found in downtown Manhattan. Aged brass taps stand out against the cool, neutral tones of the terrazzo flooring and marble shower walls whilst the 2.6m high glass shower panel, finished to match the aged brass of the tapware, accentuates the loft expanse. A blend of tones, textures, and fluted panels bring a warm and homey feel to an otherwise cool space.

A bold basin with a soft touch. Borrowing its name from this urban area, the centerpiece, the Manhattan Double Basin adds industrial texture softened by the gentle curves of the matt white basin. The shape is repeated in the mirrors, the bath, and the ottoman in the centre of the bathroom.

Aged before beauty. Our new Arte Collection of tapware is a contemporary take on the 1920’s geometric and cubic styles, however when refinished in Aged Brass it takes on a whole new personality, perfect for the Manhattan Loft style. Aged Brass is a living finish in that the natural aging process of the brass will continue to react with the environment and with daily use. To achieve this, the chrome is stripped down to the raw brass which is subsequently oxidised and blackened to speed up the aging process, resulting in a medium brown hue with golden burnt undertones.

Bespoke accessories for design continuity. Continuing the ‘Aged Brass’ theme the Verona wall lights and the accessories in the shower were refinished to match, as was the shower waste and toilet cistern flushplates. Even the mirror frames were refinished in an ‘Aged Brass’ effect. The ottoman in the centre of the bathroom adds a comfortable spot on which to place one’s towel or gown. And lastly, the use of plenty of plants bringing the outdoors indoors. Strategically placed succulents framed in our exclusive glassware range enhance the masculinity of this style whilst lending a natural element to the space.
