B’nai Mitzvah CBS U/

Eric Golberg It is hard to believe that the time has come for us to say goodbye to the beaches and pools and get ready for the school year to start back up again. Though this is often a time of sadness, (I know, I too never want the summer to end) this year I can’t wait for the school year to begin! We can finally log out of Zoom and shut down our computers and be in-person! We have been anxiously waiting to see all of you back at Beth Shalom and there is no better way to welcome you all back home than our August programming! On August 6th, put on your favorite lei and come celebrate Shabbat with us at our Service Under the SkyLuau Night. Join us for fun games, prizes, and sweet treats followed by an engaging multigenerational Friday night service! Looking for more Friday night fun? Join us the following Friday, August 13th (my birthday for those who forgot to put it on their calendars. It’s okay, I forgive you) as CBS goes to the movies! Come dressed as your favorite movie or TV characters and bring in Shabbat with more movie related games, activities and treats! On August 21st we will have our final summer Young Family Saturday Morning Shabbat service: Mazel Tot. Join in with singing, dancing, and fun with other young families from 8:30 to 9:30 am. To register, go to tinyurl.com/CBSMazelTot. With the High Holidays right around the corner, there is no better way to bring in the sweet new year than with a jar of delicious honey. Help support the Youth Endowment Fund by purchasing a jar of honey for you and all of your loved ones! This 8-ounce jar of delicious kosher honey arrives in time for the Rosh Hashanah holiday, decorated with a colorful label, and includes a personalized card reading "L'Shana Tova - Wishing you a Healthy and Happy New Year". This card also lets the recipients know that a donation has been made in their honor to Congregation Beth Shalom's Youth Endowment Fund. Make sure to order your honey by August 10th to receive it in time for the holidays! To order honey for you and your friends and family, go to ORTHoney.com/BSY. I am so excited to see you all as we reopen Beth Shalom. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions at egolberg@bethshalomnb.com.
