SHELTER OF FOUR 2nd place and peoples choice award Sukkahville 2015 Shelter of Four provides shelter while simultaneously preserving views and connections to the outside world. The patterned perforations on each layer are based on the arba’s minim: four species of plants mentioned in the Torah. The symbolism of the four species in relation to the holiday of Sukkot include the desire to unite the four “types” of Jews, the parts of the human body, and the plants used in the construction of a traditional sukkah. 5

RYU HOUSE Featured in 325 Magazine 2015 The Ryu house has two important roles: one is being a residential home and the second is being a business. This house connects the private and public realms which are differentiated by their circulation pattern. The Ryu House’s residential facade‘s most prominent feature is the main staircase of the house and its roof features a Japanese garden which serves as a private area for the family to enjoy. The Ryu House has all these circulations reflected within the interior and exterior. 13

FLUMMOX 1st place , Best Window Installation DesignTO 2016

Flummox, a window installation for a used record/book store called Pandemonium, is made up of around 250 melted record vinyl modules that are connected with custom cut acrylic pieces, airline tubing, and aircraft wire. The installation is suspended from the ceiling, and is connected to the skeleton body of structural conduit. The form of the installation allows for a unique experience as the user walks through it and experiences its various angles. Inside, there are wired LED’s which allow it to light up at night, creating an enticing and vibrant look. 19

El Anatsui Museum Parliament Square Park is an area full of circulation. It is surrounded by main streets, railways and trails. The intent of the museum is to utilize this circulation and connect the building to existing site conditions. By incorporating existing features such as the main entry way into the Distillery district, it emphasizes the current circulation of the site and accommodates the surrounding context. The museum features works by the renowned artist/sculptor El Anatsui. The circulation throughout the space is meant to heighten and emphasize the viewing experience. Having a strong sense of circulation in the museum creates a unique experience for visitors. 24

32 Museum of Language| Mentor: Dr. Albert C. Smith | Ryerson 2018

Concept Work: Museum of Language Honourable Mention, Archasm 2018 Fossils can serve as a mold by taking the imprint of a moment of time from a long gone era. In the same way, languages capture the culture, heritage, and history of a community. Though some languages have “died out”, leaving no native speakers, they still have left a significant impact on our understanding of what language is. The Museum of Language is a cast of the languages which have grown, spread, and disappeared. Languages develop by branching out from shared origins, leading to the common metaphor of “the tree of language”. The Museum of Language focuses on material properties such as deterioration, cracking, casting, and carving to encapsulate a museum of preserving and educating about endangered languages.

In order to accommodate the proposed St. Clair SmartTrack Station, certain new road connections and improvements are planned which are essential to relieve the current traffic congestion and blockages. More importantly, these road improvements will increase access and safety for pedestrians, cyclists, motorists, and transit users. 36

50 3621 Dufferin Street Dymon Storage|TACT Architecture Inc. 2018 - Ongoing | Lifang Rendering

Professional Works Dymon Storage GTA and Ottawa. 2018 - Current. Assisted with ZBA/SPA submissions, unit plans, schematic design, and massing design concepts for several locations. Dymon Storage redefines storage units. TACT Architecture was given the task to help rebrand and design all future Dymon buildings in the GTA and Ottawa. Dymon’s design concept is focused around the “Lantern”. The Lantern is the tallest element of the building, and is used to split the building programming and help make the building distinguishable from far away. The building programming allows for cars to enter a drive-through to access the locker units. Retail and office spaces have also been incorporated into the building. Some locations have residential units on the upper floors, which allows for a unique mixed-used building program. Dymon Storage buildings range from midrise to highrise.
