Agriculture and Forest covering almost 80% of the district.  It indicates the district economy is mostly dependent on the primary activity, getting its income from

Agricultural and Forest produce.  Over the decade, it is evident that there is increase in forest land by 2.5%.  There is decrease observed in barren land indicating use of land for various other purpose.  The settlements areas haven’t increased a lot over the years.
