Jason Nelson, Global Director of Aviation

Our Aviation team’s collective projects are over eight million square feet, spread across the world’s premier airports. An innovative leader in sustainability for the Aviation environment, the team has worked with Airport Authorities to develop energy targets and benchmarks that complement their existing facilities while also stretching the operations to achieve more. Through our extensive airport experience, we have a thorough understanding of the requirements of passengers, airlines, airports, authorities having jurisdiction, tenants, and the local community, as well as the financial and schedule constraints of our airport clients. We see our role as providing coherent and distinctive engineering design, optimizing operational opportunities, and most importantly, providing passengers and the general public with an enjoyable travel experience.

Jason Nelson

Global Director of Aviation

Since joining Integral Group, Jason quickly built a reputation for his active involvement in creating sustainable solutions for the built environment. With over fifteen years of mechanical engineering design experience, Jason has a solid foundation in HvAC and earth energy systems. He specializes in medium to large-scale projects focusing on aviation buildings, including terminal buildings and other buildings that support airport operations. Some of his key projects include YvR A-B Connector, YvR CORE Program and LaGuardia Terminal B Redevelopment. Jason’s proficient communication and interpersonal skills distinguish him as a key member of the Integral Group partnership team.

Stephanie Hammer

Principal, vancouver

Stephanie is a principal specializing in the integration of mechanical systems design through an interdisciplinary process. With over 15 years of experience working in the building services industry, she has worked on a variety of building types, including airports, schools, museums, commercial, and industrial. She is currently working in the aviation sector with a focus on the Vancouver Airport (YVR) which has been awarded North America’s best airport for the past eleven years. She utilizes her depth of knowledge within the institutional sector to collectively find solutions to meet departmental needs and has been involved in some of the most ambitious projects at YvR vancouver International Airport.

Christopher Piche

Regional Director, US East

Chris brings a broad understanding of high-performance systems to each project. His approach is rooted in the philosophy that environmentally responsible design must constantly evolve to suit the technology available in balance with the client’s goals and objectives. A Professional Engineer with over 20 years of experience, Chris thrives in a team environment, leaning into each opportunity with the belief that every project is an opportunity to deliver something impactful. With that in mind, Chris’ work over the last decade has focused on the relationship between resiliency, energy, and water resource consumption and the ability to positively impact the built environment for the occupant.

Hugh Wilson

Principal, Sydney

Hugh has been consulting in the building services industry as an HvAC engineer for over twelve years. Since 2015 Hugh has been almost exclusively dedicated to servicing Sydney Airport as a key strategic client, during which time he has been involved in over 100 different projects of different scales and types. He works closely with architectural and Sydney Airport team members to facilitate the timely and successful delivery of building service scope on airport projects. Hugh’s expertise comprises feasibility studies, concept strategies and infrastructure systems analysis, delivery of detailed design and construction stage assistance, facilitating his clients’ vision for future outcomes.

David Glossop

Principal, London

David brings an inclusive management approach to his engineering project management. He is analytical in process with the ability to make strategic decisions in line with business strategy. David has breadth and depth of knowledge within a wide variety of areas, including aviation, leisure, hotels, residential, commercial, and education sectors worldwide.
