Landscape Master Plan EXISTING PARLIAMENT ANNEXE (SANSADIYA SOUDHA)

The site is close to the majestic complex of Imperial buildings that flank the expansive Raj path on the Parliament street . To the side of the site lies the parliament library and to the side lies the Parliament house is a massive circular structure surrounded by a giant colonnade in beige granite that sits a top a one storey high podium in red sandstone. Just adjacent to the site is the existing parliament annexe building . In between lies the Parliament Library with its contemporary expression and courtyard landscape treatments. The complex provisions required to be made in a legislature building have been fused in this modern structure . The existing site shows very big trees mostly which has to be retained during the landscape and the architectural extension design
