Deerfield Park District has many options to fill your child’s time after school, days off of school, during school breaks and in the summer. These programs are created to fit your schedule and allow opportunities for your child to learn new skills and try new activities.

After School Club - 2022-2023 School Year

After School Club begins on Thursday, August 18 (the first full day of school) and ends on the last full day of school. After School Club is available for kindergarten through fifth grade students at District 109 schools. Arts & crafts, games, outdoor activities, and quiet time for homework will be available each day. Please make sure your children are dressed appropriately for the weather, as we frequently go outdoors.

School’s Out Program

Join us for a day of supervised fun at the Jewett Park Community Center. Children will participate in a variety of activities including games, arts & crafts and much more! Campers are introduced to the fundamentals of sports including basketball, floor hockey, football, kickball, soccer, t-ball and other sports and group games. Pegasus FC Soccer Clinic

Soccer activities include a combination of small-sided gameplay, individual ball work, speed and agility and a variety of entertaining games to reinforce the “skill of the day.” As a result, players of all skill and age levels are appropriately challenged so they can gain a true love for the game of soccer. Deerfield Park District offers busing from Walden, Kipling, South Park and Wilmot Schools to Jewett Park Community Center for after school enrichment programs. Find programs in the Youth & Teen, Dance and the Jewett Park After School Enrichment Section with the bus logo next to them. Participants meet with the After School BUS Club Program at your school until the shuttle arrives. Pick-ups begin at Walden, Kipling, South Park and then Wilmot Schools. To participate in After School Busing, participants must be signing up for a program at Jewett Park Community Center. Must indicate both the program activity number and busing activity number on the registration form. Registration one week prior.
