Medifrail Careline was introduced to fill the need for supportive services in the community. Home nursing and care services enable you to have nursing care in the safety and comfort of your own home. It enables elderly people to maintain an independent lifestyle as long as possible or to bring the frail care facility to their own home.

Services available

• One monthly visit by a Registered/

Enrolled nurse. • Perform & monitor tests (blood pressure, urine/sugar levels during monthly visit). • Assistance with admission to hospital or applications for nursing/retirement homes if needed. • Negotiations with medical aids as part of the care plan.

Optional add-on services:

(At affordable additional fee) • Home nursing care for frail elderly people. • Respite care for a few hours, a day, or longer periods. • Wound care. • Bed bath/full wash/bath.

Medifrail Careline provides a 24-hour service to those without a local support structure.

A registered nurse is on duty 24 hours for emergency calls. The nurse will assist telephonically as far as possible but will do home visits only during official working hours. However, he/she will arrange for an ambulance in case of an emergency.
