Flourishing in retirement means nourishing your own passions. That love of watercolor may have been packed away when there was no time to create. That vintage mustang might be in parts in the garage waiting patiently for your meticulous care. Your hobbies may have lain dormant during the last busy stages of work and family life. Now’s the time to rekindle your passions! There are many groups across Sussex that would welcome new members with arms wide open. Why not give back at the Village Improvement Association, or your local animal shelter like the Brandywine SPCA or DHA? Maybe peeling back the years with the Lewes Historical Society strikes your fancy. Or perhaps your green thumb would be right at home with the Lewes in Bloom or Rehoboth in Bloom teams.
