Who we are

Sci-Tech is a local Alberta manufacturer of high-performance cleaning products. Over the past 20 years, Sci-Tech products have found their way into schools, hospitals, businesses, industrial sites and oilfield operations across Alberta. During the pandemic, SciTech provided disinfectants and hand sanitizers to organizations Canada-wide, working hard to combat the spread of infection. We are here to provide quality products that perform in the hallways and classrooms of Alberta schools to the drilling floors of oilrigs working across our province.

What makes Sci-Tech different from other chemical providers? Packaging sizes, dispensers, scents, dyes, labels, product training and more can all be adapted to the specific needs of our customers. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Our products can be tailored to best fit the goals of our customers. We have knowledgeable staff available for product training including an in-house chemist. We have a long established lineup of environmentally friendly products that have been tested in demanding environments province wide in addition to more traditional products. Insights from the pandemic

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it is that our supply lines for almost anything are a long line of companies separated by great distances and geographies. As a manufacturer, it has been very hard to overcome as so many of the raw materials we rely on were either in short supply or not available at all. We had to adapt to overcome these issues and out of this came a much greater understanding of the importance of sourcing materials locally. As much as possible, we have always tried to support local businesses, but the pandemic really made us search out those local organizations that could supply our needs. I hope more companies Alberta-wide will search out and source goods and services from other Albertans. The green future

In many industries, the green movement seems to be top of mind and has been for some time. As a manufacturer of cleaning products and other chemicals, this is a great trend to see. Many tried and tested products that have been around for many decades may work well but they do so at the expense of the environment.
