A message from the Executive Director Stefanie Dunn

Greetings on behalf of the Chamber!

I am delighted to bring this welcome message as I settle into this role after a busy summer season. I welcome any opportunity to represent and advocate for my community, and as the newly appointed Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, it is truly an honour.

As the season shifts yet again, and we prepare for the hustle of the holidays, I encourage you all to take the time and energy to dial back into our community. Go out and walk in your neighbourhood, visit local businesses, connect with loved ones, and bring presence into your everyday. I find in this rapidly changing world, where we have hustle culture, perfection and full schedules thrust upon us, it’s easy to disconnect and become caught up in the demands of our day-to-day lives. Connecting with those around us helps ground us, become more involved and integrated in the community, and helps us all build Portage la Prairie and District stronger, together.
