Every year, since 2000, the Pantone Colour Institute has revealed eight colour palettes that are predicted to be trending.

This year’s colour, Ultra Violet, was a complex shade of purple that calls to mind royalty, elegance and wealth, something that can be associated not only with power but also with the vastness of galaxy.

So, what should we expect for 2019? Rumours affirm that the chosen colours are elegant but always with a nod of style. From deep taupe to coral: these are the hues you can look forward to seeing in home design next year.

We will have several brown shades in the new palettes, that will remind us of a very natural, earthy and calm vision of design attitude.

Although, for the lovers of the brighter shades, there is a place for you as well. Another standout trend will include a movement to intense colours. Vivacious hues such as blue bird and nasturium are going to shine everywhere soon.

2019’s colors will somehow be able to create a super romantic atmosphere with a touch of vintage mood. The wallpaper addiction will continue, as the inspiration drawn from the mid-century style with its bright shades, fun time and amazing patterns.

It’s too early to say, but we have high hopes that next “colour of the year” is going to be a contemplative shade of red : Persian Red.

Another regal color that conveys an oriental charm, not only for the name it bears, but also for the strong remind of heat and spices.
