Information for the reader

Light Up Walk Professional is a state-of-theart generation of ground-recessed luminaires. Light Up W.P. highlights architectural features as well as green spaces. From small light signs to diffused illumination, the Light Up Walk professional luminaires, in addition to wall washing and indicating paths, allow for the lit surfaces to give off an appealing energy. This outdoor recessed luminaire series by itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s innovative design based on circular and square shapes as well as customized frames, and a wide range of possible installation applications that will allow for creative minds to enhance and actualize their vision of the project in the works.

Lens temperature is a complicated issue among lighting design professionals today. Trying to balance light output and low temperatures is a difficult task. Light Up Walk was designed with both issues in mind. The wide choice of light sources and optics allow for lower wattage bulbs to perform better and deliver a flawless light distribution meeting any photometric requirements. All individual lens temperatures are listed in the chart on page 8. Many of the fixtures perform below 140°F which is the maximum recommended setting for residential hot water heaters. This particular detail should be considered when deciding on fixtures and their location.

Decompression box

Static load strength: 11,000 lbs

The Light Up Walk system includes a special decompression box that eliminates internal negative pressure.

Light Up Walk was designed to solve the most widespread mechanical-load and drive-over problems: all luminaires are tested to withstand a load of up to 11,000 lbs thanks to their aluminum outer casings and bodies, stainless steel frames and protection glass up to 0.75” thick. Maximum drive-over speed is 31 mph. Applications in high traffic roads and places where snow-plows may be used are not recommended due to the protruding frames.

Visual comfort

Anti-glare screens

All products in the Light Up Walk Professional series are fitted with anti-glare screens (except items I.BO11-I.BO13-I.BO002) and provide high visual comfort. These screens prevent direct glare due to light source and help control glass surface temperature. All screens are secured with captive screws.

• Linear screens for asymmetrical distribution in medium and large shallow circular bodies. • Spill-ring with front and circular screens for symmetrical spot distribution in medium and large deep circular bodies.

Aluminum outer casing

Aluminum body with integral electronic ballast, double cable‑clamp and decompression box

Recessed luminaires made with cast aluminum body and outer casing, stainless steel frame and screws. They are designed to use halogen, fluorescent, metal halide or LED light sources and offer a wide range of optical distribution: from symetrical to asymetrical, from spot beams to flood beams. Acrylic paint on body, optical assembly and on outer casing guarantees protection against UV rays and outdoor conditions. The assemblage of the frame, the glass, the optical assembly and the outer casing guarantees a resistance to a load of 11,000 lbs at a maximum speed of 31 mph.

Square luminaire Square models have asymmetrical optics. The outer casing can be ordered separately from the optical bodies. Spill-rings ensure visual comfort in all models. The optical assembly is sealed with hardened sodium-lime glass equipped with a silicone gasket compressed by a stainless steel frame. The locking system is comprised of two stainless steel screws.

Circular luminaire The medium/large circular recessed models house intermediate hardened soda-lime glass with white silkscreen printing. The lower section houses a decompression box with cascade connection, a 6-poles terminal block and a stainless steel double cable clamp. Body and optical assembly are equipped with a locking system comprised of two stainless steel captive screws on which two extruded aluminum supports can slide. The locking system ensures positioning and anchoring of the optical assembly to the outer casing.

Small-body luminaire The Small-body models have two terminal blocks and a cable clamp. The lower section is connected to the upper section by a stainless steel cable clamp. Models equipped with anti-slip glass are available upon request. Various accessories complement the series: anti-slip glass colored or diffusing filters, suction cup and outer casing cover plates. Light Up Walk multiple shape allows for fixtures of different sizes and lamp sources to be placed in a single outer casing, sharing the same faceplate. The wide range meets all light distribution requirements. Thanks to the specially-processed stainless steel frame, pictograms can be integrated into the fixtures.

Light Up Walk professional design: Jean Michel Wilmotte

Light Up Walk multiple ground-recessed luminaires are available in several shapes and sizes. They have cast aluminum outer casings and bodies, stainless steel frames and screws and are designed to function with metal halide, fluorescent, halogen and LED light source. The Light Up Walk multiple offers a wide array of possible combinations of small, medium, shallow and medium deep recessed fixtures. Since many configurations are possible, the frames, outer casings and fixtures need to be ordered separately. All models are supplied with spill rings for visual comfort and their optical assemblies are sealed with hardened sodiumline glass envelopped with a silicone gasket compressed by a stainless steel frame. The lower section of the optical assemblies contains a decompression box with cascade connection, a 6-pole terminal block and a stainless steel double cable clamp. Small-body models have two terminal blocks and a cable clamp. The lower box is connected to the upper one with a stainless steel cable clamp.

This feature makes it easier to open the upper glass by eliminating negative pressure inside the luminaire and the pump effect on the supply cable. Stainless steel screws ensure positioning and anchoring of the frame and luminaire to the outer casing. The luminaires and outer casings are painted with an acrylic base that guarantees protection against UV rays and outdoor conditions. The combination of frame, luminaire with resistant glass and outer casing guarantees resistance to a load of 11,000 lbs at a maximum speed of 30 mph on all fittings. Models equipped with anti-slip glass are available upon request. Various accessories complement the series: anti-slip glass, colored or diffusing filters, suction cup and outer casing closing cover. The temperature in all models does not exceed 167°F. Technical specifications of fittings comply with EN60598-1 standard. This fixture rated IP67 UL Listing “suitable for wet location”

The lighting flexibility of the Linealuce product series offers many new applications: on the floor near a wall, or in a central location with special non-slip frosted glass, mounted on walls or ceilings. T5 lamps The main feature of the particularly small T5 lamps is their wide color temperature scale which ranges from 3000 to 6000° Kelvin. They are especially well-suited to highlight architectural details where there is no clear-cut predominance of cold or warm colors (3000÷6000°K), or where cold (5000÷6000°K) colors clearly prevail in order to highlight the structures with scenic effects of light and shade. The T5 lamps offer better energy conservation compared to conventional systems, while maintaining a high luminous efficiency.

This modular lighting system uses T5 fluorescent tubes. The fixture is made of an extruded aluminum profile sealed at both ends with die-cast aluminum end caps and locked with stainless steel screws and silicone washers. The optical assembly is sealed with a glass screen fitted directly to the extruded profile, housing a super-pure aluminum reflector. The fluorescent T5 system is equipped with an internal electronic control gear and is designed for feedthrough wiring.
