OCTA Octa is based on a geometric form of ancient origins: on the platonic solid of the octahedron, which, like all platonic solids, is perfectly symmetrical. Even more astounding are the fascinating reflections of these sleek luminaires – even the shape of the crystal itself seems to change with the viewing perspective, eye-catching through the resulting interplay, as well as through its brilliance. The eight facets of the double pyramid are arranged to create a powerful light display on ceilings or walls, while the luminaires also emit functional light. Its warm halogen light illuminates rooms pleasantly and evenly. As a ceiling luminaire, Octa is excellently suited for the general lighting of living and dining rooms furnished in a contemporary style. SWING POWER LED The centre of this LED recessed luminaire is the brilliant cut crystal in its interior. When positioned near a wall, it creates well-defined asymmetrical reflections that impart a lofty feel and entice the viewer into the expanse of an emerging arch. The LEDs used guarantee a long service life and reduced energy use. Swing Power LED is ideally suited for floor-recessed installation, ideally at a distance of up to 20 cm from the wall. EXPLANATION OF THE PICTOGRAMS
The CE certification mark (“Certified Europe” or “Communauté Européene”) is proof of conformity with the “fundamental specifications” of relevant European standards.
For electronic items including products covered by the German devices and product safety law (GPSG). The VDE mark denotes conformity with the VDE specifications or European or internationally harmonised standards and confirms compliance with the safety requirements of the appropriate directives. The VDE mark denotes the safety of the product in respect of electrical, mechanical, thermal, toxic, radiological and other risks.
ENEC (European Norms Electrical Certification) European is a common certification mark for lamps and electrical components as provided for under the LUM agreement. It indicates norm conformity on products marked with European safety standards, in particular EN60598.
Gost R: Certification of goods for export to the Russian Confederation relate to compliance with stipulations passed which guarantee safety to life, health and property of the consumer as well as environmental protection in Russia.
The CCC text mark (CCC = China Compulsory Certification) is a compulsory test mark indicating the safety and quality of products sold on the Chinese market.
The PSE test symbol is a manadatory certification for Japan under the law of electrical appliances and material safety (DENAN).

The luminaires in this catalogue are designed and manufactured in compliance with the specifications of EN 60598/VDE 0711. The largest part of the luminaires bears a corresponding test mark on the rating plate and on packaging and instructions for use. The other luminaires have been submitted for testing.
