Information for the reader

Creating a balance between light fittings recessed both in the ground and on the wall is a task that requires the very latest in technology. The Ledplus line of recessed fittings is based upon LED (Light Emitting Diode) technology, and opens up new horizons for the use of wall-recessed and ground-recessed lighting. Ledplus is a guide for pedestrians as pathways become easier to follow, walls and details are highlighted. Ledplus fittings consume very little energy, they are shock and vibration resistant, and thanks to their long

life,they are practically maintenance-free. The Ledplus â&#x20AC;&#x153;All Glassâ&#x20AC;? ground recessed fittings, perfectly flush with the surface, are ideal for pedestrians and the disabled. The all-glass effect of the ground recessed fittings is the result of extensive research and testing sessions. Ledplus for wallrecessing has a simple style which perfectly fits areas with foot traffic,meeting rooms and offices, airports,cinemas, theatres, and hotel hallways.

• A series of wall-recessed and ground-recessed LED indicator lighting fixtures.

• The stainless steel upper collar is flush with surface and secured to the casing.

• Both a monochromatic version and an RGB version with dynamic color changes are available.

• Reduced height: less than 4” (including casing).

• Round and square versions, available in two sizes: 2-3/8” and 5-1/8”. • The luminaires have a diffuse tempered glass lens with no visible hardware. The luminaires are retained by a stainless steel spring assembly that securely holds them in place. • The body of the luminaire is made of highly resistant thermoplastic material. It is supplied hard-wired with a 12” cable. • The installation requires no tools. The product has a blocking system that locks the luminaire onto the casing via pressure retention spring (clips).

• Lens surface temperature will not exceed 110°F. • Static load resistance 1100 lbs. – 2200 lbs. depending on models . • All luminaires are equipped with an anti-siphon device that will prevent the possibility of water entering the fixture by way of the power feed cable . • The fixture can be installed with die cast aluminum housings or cylindrical polypropylene housings. All installations must be installed with proper drainage under the recessed housing. This fixture is rated IP68 UL Listed “Suitable for Wet Location”

• Ledplus offers a series of small recessed round fixtures with stainless steel trims: the 1-1/8” diameter model can be used as a wall/ground marker while the larger 2-5/8” diameter model can be recessed either in the wall or in ground to respectively wash the ground and wall surfaces.

• Maximum lens surface temperature shall not exceed 104°F.

• All fixtures have tempered glass lenses.

• The 1-1/8” diameter fixture is constructed entirely of 304 stainless steel and the 2-5/8” diameter fixture has an injected molded thermoplastic rear housing. Fixtures are supplied with a 12” cord with an anti-siphon device installed.

Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology has advanced so much that it may now be used as low level illumination for exterior paths and walkways as well as interior corridors. LED sources are an energy efficient and very low maintenance solution to way finding and the use of the pictograms on these fixtures solves many design issues. LEDPLUS recessed fixtures are available in round, square, and rectangular models.

• Fixtures are available in round, square and linear models. • The round and square models are supplied with a molded thermoplastic housing. The linear fixtures have extruded aluminum housings with die cast aluminum end caps. • All fixtures incorporate a 3/32” thick Type 304 stainless steel faceplate with a 3/8” thick tempered glass lens. The faceplate is secured to the housing by means of (2) selfretaining stainless steel screws. • All fixtures are supplied with a molded silicone gasket that ensures a watertight seal of the electrical components. • All fixtures are supplied with 12” of H05RN-F cord. The monochromatic fixtures are supplied with a 2 wire cable and the RBG fixtures are supplied with a 4 wire cable. All cable assemblies are supplied with the anti-siphon device molded inline with the cable. • The diecast aluminum casings, when recessed in concrete, provide for a drive over resistance that could withstand 2200 lbs. • All fixtures with clear lenses and narrow optics are provided with a polymer lens providing a 10° distribution and concentric ring glare guard. The fixtures have adjustable gimbals that allow for off axis aiming of the LED source. Verify the fixtures’ individual specifications for exact tilt angle possible adjustments. Fixtures used for indicator lighting are supplied with a darkened lens to minimize the visibility of the LED source.

• All fixtures are available with a number of different installation devices. The polypropylene tube recessing casings may be used in earth and fixtures supplied with low voltage cabling. The die cast aluminum casings are to be used in concrete pours or in vertical wall applications. All die cast aluminum casings are manufactured with copper free aluminum and organically coated to prevent galvanic action. • All fixtures that are mounted in grade are to be installed over proper drainage. The use of a “French Drain” is highly recommended, however any method that will prevent the accumulation of water in the casing is acceptable. If soil or site conditions indicate, a suitable drain system must be installed. • All fixtures have a surface lens temperature of less than 104°F. This makes these fixtures suitable for pedestrian areas where contact with human skin may present a problem for fixtures of higher wattage. • All hardware shall be AISI 304 stainless steel to prevent corrosion. • All fixtures have an IP68 rating which makes them suitable for submersion in water. The use of these products in pools or water that may be accessible by humans is not recommended.
