The Incubator intends to provide transitionary asylum, medical needs and educational infrastructures as an integral platform for world refugees amidst the ongoing issue of forceful and involuntary displacements, structured as a metabolic incubator that allows for expansion, growth, regeneration and securitization.
‘E Pluribus Unum’ – Out of Many, One – expresses a vision to realise the ideal of unity in a world of people from various backgrounds and beliefs, especially in the face of aggregated civil unrest, health emergencies and humanitarian crisis working to tear it apart. It serves more than an ideal, it reflects an essential truth about both nature and the human society – that we are stronger and more resilient together, embracing all of humankind’s diversity, than we are apart – it has thus become the driving force behind The Incubator project – A mobile suite of moving urban structure sailing on international high seas, undefined by boundaries, borders, religions and political divides.
