Editor’s Note: One of the best rewards of this job is meeting women and men who make Del Rio “grande.” I didn’t know Kayla Riley before my Grande colleague Atzimba Morales introduced me to her. Riley, a hometown Del Rioan, works as a second grade teacher in our local public school district, a job she obviously loves. She also has a wonderful presence and sense of style as she’s setting out on her life’s journey.
