The Statesmen and Lady Statesmen boast nine national championships, 55 regional crowns and 46 conference titles. Delta State athletes have collected 45 Academic All-American honors to rank tenth all-time in NCAA Division II history.

INVESTING IN YOU You’ve got options. Delta State University offers a comprehensive program of financial aid to assist students in obtaining a college education. Financial Aid is granted to students on the basis of financial need. Students should apply for federal financial aid on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov no later than March 1 of each year. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
APPLY YOURSELF So here’s what it takes to get in. Students who meet the requirements for entering freshmen may transfer to Delta State University from a regionally accredited community, junior or senior college, provided a 2.0 GPA has been maintained on all college courses attempted. Students must also be in good academic standing with the last college or university attended. Any student who does not meet entering freshmen requirements may transfer to Delta State University after completing the following 24 semester credit hours with an overall 2.0 GPA on all hours attempted: 6 semester hours of english composition 3 semester hours of college algebra or higher math 6 semester hours of laboratory science 9 semester hours of transferable electives
