PURPOSE

The powerful combination of their artwork along with their stories inspires communities and drives social change. Every artist earns 55% of the profits from the sale of their work. One percent from each sale goes to a fund which provides art supplies to art groups nationwide. ArtLifting uses the remaining 44% to further their mission.

Utilizing themes of abstraction and symmetry, Alicia creates harmony and balance. Despite chronic pain, Alicia focuses on her desire to bring forth beauty through art.

Charlie’s calming paintings mirror the joy of his imagination. Born with Down syndrome, he stresses the importance of seeing him first as a person, then an artist.

With each piece, Jeff improves the levels of peace and patience in his life. He is empowered by the obstacles he has overcome, including addiction and housing insecurity.

Midori

San Francisco, CA

Born in Japan, Midori has been creating art since childhood. Midori hopes to spread positivity by sharing the nature-inspired peace and calm that her art evokes.

Linda King

Providence, RI

Linda’s works are influenced by African-American culture, her own experiences and her love for music. She was a proud member of the ArtLifting community until her passing in 2020.

Jeff Roysdon

San Francisco, CA

Quiet by nature, Jeff lets his art speak for him. Drawing provides a way to share a bit of himself with others while coping with anxiety and depression.
