History Deniece Senter Ministries reaches the Dinah(s) of this world taken from the 34th Chapter of Genesis. Dinah's name means "Judgment." The powerful anointing on Dinah's life saves cities and restores nations. Dinah was the daughter of Jacob. She was raped, battered, scandalized, abused and called out of her name. She was the only sister of 12 brothers who loved her dearly, and who would do whatever it took to fight for her. She was the great granddaughter of Abraham, and has inherited his blessings. After preaching this story for my first sermon, December 30, 2001, the Lord then commanded me to go and get His "Dinah(s)"-women who feel forgotten and abused. I was commanded to bring them to safety. D - Delivered; I - Inspired; N Noble; A - Accountable and H - Holy. Dinah, you are chosen, not forgotten. God has a message to all of those who feel like Dinah, and to all of those who are dealing with issues of anger and forgiveness. That message is that there is nothing too hard for God. God wants to heal and deliver you today. To every person who feels forgotten, lost, abandoned, abused ,and rejected, this ministry is for you.

For Those Who Feel Forgotten
Hope is the life force that keeps us going and gives us something to live for. Hope is a crucial part of dealing with life’s problems and maintaining resilience is the face of obstacles. Even a glimmer of hope that our situation will turn around can keep us going. Though, when we begin to lose hope, things can seem bleak. When we run into constant resistance and are prevented from reaching our goals we can start to feel like there is nothing to live for. If we can’t get to where we want to be and don’t feel in control of our life, what’s the point? If you or someone else is feeling apathetic and are tired of running the rat race of life you may be starting to lose hope. In order to open up new and fulfilling possibilities for your future, you may need to nurture hope. On the next page is an adaptation from the book, The Psychology of Hope by C.R. Snyder, a late and great pioneer in the field of positive psychology. How we lose hope •Lacking hope from the beginning – If we experienced neglect and were never nourished as a child, we may never have developed a healthy level of hopeful thinking. We might not have confidence and resilience set in place, and simply struggle when things prevent us from achieving our goals. •Loss of connections – When we experience loss over time we can start to feel hopeless. Loss can come from divorce, death, and change. We can also experience loss of intangibles like a job or other important aspects of our identity. When we hold on and wallow in our grief from these loses hopelessness can set in. •Victimization – When we are abused and belittled we can start to believe that is how life is supposed to be. We can begin to feel that we don’t have any control over what happens to us and that bad things will always occur. This can relate to unfair treatment from prejudice and discrimination. •Burnout – If we don’t take care of ourselves we can get exhausted and overwhelmed to a point where life seems to run over us. We no longer feel able to manage our responsibilities and develop a negative and cynical view of the world and others. Burnout can lead us to feel defeated.

How to renew hope In much of the research examining hope, a major factor that contributes to our level of hope is the achievement of our goals. When we are able to reach our goals and have a sense of support and validation it instills hope. In this sense, empowering yourself by setting effective goals is the key. Here is a few tips to set and achieve your goals and bring more hope into your life. Prioritize goals There are so many areas in life that we may like to see improvements, but we can’t do everything at once. So, figure out what domains of life you want to achieve goals in, and what’s most important between these. Do you want to have better relationships, get a job, or have better physical health? Pick one area to begin and set a realistic goal that you will be able to achieve. Set SMART Goals In order for goals to uplift and enliven us we need goals that are challenging and motivating yet still realistic. A good acronym to follow in order for goals to be effective is “SMART.” •Specific •Measurable •Action oriented •Realistic •Time bound Move past barriers When working toward our goals there’s likely to be some unexpected situations that occur. We need to be ready to deal with obstacles and drawbacks. Consider what barrier you could run into and how to be prepared to manage these. When they arise you will be ready, have a plan, and won’t be able to use this as an excuse to give up. It will also be an important aid to the success of your goals. We need to know where we’re going, and have an idea of how and when we’re going to get there. By achieving small steps along the way you can renew hope and continue to stretch yourself further. When we break down goals into short-term, mid-term, and long-term expectations it provides clear direction and measurable progress that can keep us motivated and hopeful for a successful future. Once your hope us renewed, you will get back everything you lost and more.

Intelligence is no longer the main predictor of success. While IQ still carries a lot of weight, personality traits play a much bigger role. According to a 2016 research paper from the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, grades and achievement tests capture personality traits that are generally more predictive than IQ for several important life outcomes, like income and self-reported life satisfaction. Personality is also considered by employers. They use behavioral assessments and personality tests to prioritize candidates and predict if their behavior is a good fit. Even college admissions professionals are looking at a candidate’s personality. In fact, KudosWall conducted a survey of 500 academic admissions professionals between November 13 and November 28, 2017. The research found that 86 percent say an applicant’s personality and character skills assessments play a big role in the admissions process. There is good news: while there is no evidence suggesting you can change your personality, there is anecdotal evidence that shows you can change how you behave. For example, people who are dissatisfied with their friendships tend to put themselves in situations where they can increase in extroversion. There is no right or wrong personality type, but there are personality traits and character skills that are beneficial. Here’s a look at some of the traits and skills that influence performance in personal and professional development. Self-Discipline Yields a Healthy Body and Mind. Your level of self-discipline determines your ability to achieve goals. When you’re disciplined, you’re able to control feelings, overcome weaknesses, and pursue goals despite temptations that can hold you back. People with high levels of self-discipline are better at sticking to healthy habits, like eating right and exercising. If this personality trait isn’t natural, you can start making changes to develop it. Look at areas in your life in which you want to make improvements, such as your career, nutrition, social needs, fitness, and more. Determine your big ‘why’ for each goal. When you have a reason bigger than yourself, like living longer or feeling more fulfilled in your work, your motivation will be consistent. Then, create an action plan that includes specific goals and track your progress. If you’re working on meeting your social needs, start with action (attending one meetup per week), track your progress (number of meetups attended), and reflect on the outcome (mood changes and the feeling of social needs being met). As you make progress, you’ll learn how to stay on course with goal-driven approaches.

Organizational Skills Hone Your Vision When you think of highly organized professionals, you imagine meticulously clean work spaces and detailed planners. They have color-coded calendars and are fully engaged in their work. This skill set falls under the big five personality type called conscientiousness. Those with this personality trait are typically considered reliable and dependable. They stand out because they’re directed by what matters most to them. They’re not scrolling social media when they should be preparing for a meeting. They follow a routine that helps them see their priorities and work on them first. Build these organizational skills by focusing on one day at a time. Start by using checklists during your work day. Then, learn how to prioritize your daily tasks. Give yourself 15 minutes at the beginning of the day to schedule your time, then use 15 minutes at the end of the day to plan for tomorrow. Optimism is Positivity in Action If you see the glass as half-empty, you’re going to struggle with facing challenges and overcoming setbacks in your personal and professional life. Optimism – the other side of the coin – is your ability to feel hopeful and confident about your future. This positive outlook is often harder to come by. However, it can actually be programmed with consistent practice. Start developing optimism by practicing mindfulness. For example, start meditating, mindful walking, and consider enrolling in a mindfulness training program. When you cultivate a present mind, you’re able to allow negative thought patterns to come and go. In other words, you’re training yourself to regulate your emotions, both good and bad. Combine this practice with visualization. Some of the best athletes in the world use visualization tactics to get into the right mindset. When you visualize a successful presentation or earning a big client deal, you feel more confident in your future.

How to Use Your Creativity Strategically
Strategic Creativity Resonates With Others Creative people are typically curious, imaginative, and expressive. However, depending on their ability to read an audience, they can get into trouble. Some people might interpret their expressiveness as risky and divisive, which is why it’s important to be strategic in creative pursuits. Creativity remains a top skill in the eyes of leaders everywhere. For example, our survey found that creativity is a favored personality trait in online portfolios, college resumes, admissions essays, and online presences for students applying to college admissions. Similarly, the World Economic Forum January 2016 survey found that the ability to think creativity will be one of the most important work skills by 2020 and this is particularly true for high-performing leaders. Learn how to feed your creativity by getting your thoughts out on paper. Start a journal to reflect on your day. The practice of writing, distilling information, and expressing yourself is a great way to get your creative muscles working. Then, practice expressing yourself to different audiences by creating content on a blog or podcast. You can even make it fun by covering topics you love.
Outgoingness Boosts Your Social Capital Being socially confident and building relationships in social settings is where extroverts thrive. In fact, extroversion is a great asset in several areas of life. The KudosWall survey found that 71 percent of admissions professionals say they’re more likely to accept applicants who convey an outgoing, friendly personality than someone who is reserved. Also, a January 2016 study published in the Journal of Organizational Behavior found that extroverts tend to energize the group when team members are getting along. When you demonstrate social capital and engage well with others, you make a great impression. However, introverts find outgoingness challenging because social situations often drain their energy. Fortunately, this personality trait can be learned. Shift your focus from yourself to others around you. When you’re worried about how you present yourself, it takes you out of the moment. Instead, concentrate on getting to know people in your social setting. Start small by going to new events with people you know. Intelligence gets you far, but these personality traits bring you the extra mile. If you already possess them, double down. But if they don’t come naturally, start practicing. This shift in your behavior will lead to big success in all aspects of your life.

How To Study the Bible The Bible is the greatest book ever written. In it God Himself speaks to us. It is a book of divine instruction. It offers comfort in sorrow, guidance in perplexity, advice for our problems, rebuke for our sins, and daily inspiration for our every need. The Bible is not simply one book. It is an entire library of books covering the whole range on literature. It includes history, poetry, drama, biography, prophecy, philosophy, science, and inspirational reading. All or part of the Bible has been translated into more than 1,200 languages, and every year more copies of the Bible are sold than any other single book. The Bible alone truly answers the greatest questions that men of all ages have asked: "Were have I come from?" "Where am I going?" "Why am I here?" "How can I know the truth?" For the Bible reveals the truth about God, explains the origin of man, points out the only way to salvation and eternal life, and explains the age-old problem of sin and suffering. The great theme of the Bible is the Lord Jesus Christ and His work of redemption for mankind. The person and work of Jesus Christ are promised, prophesied, and pictured in the types and symbols of the Old Testament. In all of His truth and beauty, the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed in the Gospels; and the full meanings of His life, His death, and His resurrection are explained in the Epistles. His glorious coming again to earth in the future is unmistakably foretold in the Book of Revelation. The great purpose of the written Word of God, the Bible, is to reveal the living Word of God, the Lord Jesus Christ (read John 1:1-18). Here are seven great things that the study of the Bible will do for us: The Bible discovers sin. The Bible helps cleanse us from the pollutions of sin. The Bible imparts strength. The Bible instructs us in what we are to do. The Bible provides us with a sword for victory over sin. The Bible makes our lives fruitful. The Bible gives us power to pray.
For your devotional reading and study of the Bible, here are several important, practical suggestions: Begin your Bible reading with prayer (Psalm 119:18; John 16:13-15.) Take brief notes on what you read. Keep a small notebook for your Bible study.
12
How To Study Continued Read slowly through one chapter or perhaps two or three chapters or perhaps just on paragraph at a time. After reading, ask yourself what this passage means. Then reread it. It is often very helpful in finding out the true meaning of a chapter or passage to ask yourself the following questions, and then write the answers in your notebook: What is the main subject of this passage? Who are the persons revealed in this passage: Who is speaking? About whom is he speaking? Who is acting? What is the key verse of this passage? What does this passage teach me about the Lord Jesus Christ? Does this passage portray any sin for me to confess and forsake? Does this passage contain any command for me to obey? Is there any promise for me to claim? Is there any instruction for me to follow? Not all of these questions may be answered in every passage. Keep a spiritual diary. Either in your Bible study notebook mentioned or in a separate notebook entitled, "My Spiritual Diary," write down daily what God says to you through the Bible. Write down the sins that you confess or the commands you should obey. Memorize favorite passages of the Word of God. No one is ever too old to memorize the Word of God. Write verses on cards with the reference on one side and the verse on the other. Carry these cards with you and review them while you're waiting for a train, standing in lunch line or in your spare time.
Meditate on the Word of God. To meditate means "to reflect, to ponder, to consider, to dwell in thought." Through meditation the Word of God will become meaningful and real to you, and the Holy Spirit will use this time to apply the Word of God to your own life and problems.

How to Overcome Fear Fear is a trick of the enemy that causes doubt which can lead to weakness because you have no control. Fear leads to a lot of failures that can stop the flow of God and the anointing. These are the things of the devil that can lead you to depression, destruction and even death. The Holy Spirit is the One who gives us spiritual gifts and empowers us to use them. God's spirit does not impart fear or cowardice, but power, love, and a sound mind (meaning self-control). The Spirit imparts power for the various circumstances of ministry. The love the Spirit gives to us should be directed toward other individuals. Furthermore, as we use our spiritual gifts to build up the Church, we should exercise self-control using our abilities only at the appropriate times. If you see a brother fall and make a mistake, don't be quick to judge or condemn them. Instead, use tact and love at the appropriate time, making sure you're not embarrassing them. Remember you have faults and fears to. Our goal is to help pull somebody out of darkness and into the marvelous light and while you're pulling them out, you get to come out of bondage also. Romans 8:15 says, "For ye have not received the Spirit of bondage again to fear but ye have received the Spirit of adoption whereby we cry Abba Father;' we as Christians have been adopted into God's family receiving an eternal inheritance. So you have power and love working together using self-control to cast out fear. I John 4: 18 says, "There is no fear in love but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear involves torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." In other words, you cannot fear what you love. Hallelujah! The purpose of Paul's command to Timothy is the promotion of God's love in the church. Gossip, speculation, and criticism should not come from the lips of believers. Putting your mouth on another believer can set you back and cause you to miss the mark. Every seed you plant will bloom, including negative seeds and they will come back to haunt you. In other words, what goes around comes around. Negative seeds are like weeds growing in a garden with one purpose - to destroy the roses. But when the gardener finds the weeds, they are destroyed. This information is vital to your health and recovery. Gossip is like cancer. It's rotten to the bone and is hard to get rid of. Once you start, it's hard to stop. If you exercise love toward your neighbor instead of gossiping about them, why not pray for them and do whatever it takes to help them? Leviticus 19:18 says, "You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord." Vengeance belongs to God partly because human vengeance often is carried out too zealously. God's vengeance is entirely just. Bear any grudge means actively keeping a grudge alive with an eye toward vengeance. Matthew 22:37-40 says, "Jesus said to him, you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it you shall love your neighbor as yourself. Of these two commandments, hang all the Law and the Prophets." The heart, soul, and mind represent the whole person. This command from Leviticus 19:18 is not imperative to loving one's self. People naturally love themselves and are at least somewhat self-centered. Because we love ourselves, we want the best for ourselves. Likewise, we should be concerned for the welfare of others.

How To Get Organized And Stay Organized It took so long to organize your room and each closet, but it only takes a few days for you to return to your old bad habits. Rushing out the door, you toss something into the drawer, vowing to put it in its proper place later. The kids come home from school and toss their clothes in the closet and on the floor instead of hanging them up. Slowly but surely, the books are no longer organized, or even not put away. Learning how to stay organized is one thing, but remaining organized is a completely different matter. If you want to know how to stay on top of the organized lifestyle you've laid out for yourself, see Step 1 to get started.
Put everything away as soon as you can. This is one of the easiest ways to stay organized. Sure, it's great that you organized your home, your office space, or anything else in your life that needed to be put in its place, but that won't mean much if every time you come home, you throw your keys, the mail, umbrella, or other countless items wherever you feel like it because you're tired and you'll get to it later. Making a conscious effort to do this as much as you can will make a huge difference in how organized everything will look -- and how much better you'll feel. Of course, it may not be realistic to expect you to put everything in its place the second you get to work or the moment you walk in the door. It can help a lot to have a "sorting bin" near the entrance of your front door so you can toss the items into the bin, knowing that you'll have to organize them as soon as possible. However, you can't let this bin pile up: you should make a goal of keeping it as empty as possible and going through it every 12 or 24 hours. A lot of the trouble with this is mental. You may think that you don't possibly have the energy to sort through your mail or your school backpack, but if you just say, "I'm going to spend five quick minutes organizing this stuff," you'll see that the task is manageable. And the longer you let things pile up, the less manageable everything will feel.

Make your bed when you wake up. This may sound like a small point, but if you make an effort to put this into your routine, you'll be much more able to stay organized. An unmade bed is a sign of a disordered life, and the sooner you make the bed, the better you'll feel about facing your day. Seeing a neatly-made bed before you start your daily tasks can make you feel like your life is in order and that you're capable of facing the day. If your bed isn't made, it's much more likely that the rest of your bedroom will look chaotic, and that you won't be able to stay as organized as you'd like. If you leave your bed unmade, that's like giving yourself an invitation to leave your clothes piled on the floor, your makeup spilled all over your dresser, and letting old papers you don't need pile up on your desk. If your bed is made, it's a signal that you'll make sure that the rest of the room is up to par with the bed in terms of organization. Make a to-do list for the day. You should make a goal of creating a to-do list toward the beginning of every day. This will set your priorities for you, keep you focused, and will make you feel accomplished for doing the things you set out to do. However, different forms of list making work for different people, so you shouldn't feel compelled to do exactly what wikiHow or other websites tell you to do; find a list-making method that works for you and stick to it. Here are some things to keep in mind as you make your lists: Consider making a weekly to-do list. Then, break up the things you need to get done each day so that all of the stuff you have to do feels less overwhelming. You'll feel a lot better about getting through that long list if you decide that you only have to get three things done on Monday. Make a "top 3" list for the day. These are the things you really have to get done to feel better and to move forward. Don't do something easier and more fun, like returning a friend's phone call, when there are more pressing things to attend to, like paying those electric bills. Don't feel compelled to write down every little thing you have to do. This can actually lead you to feel a bit more overwhelmed. If you have some of the easier tasks firmly planted in your head and go about doing them, you'll feel better about checking them off your list. Avoid making an incredibly long list. Though your list can include some "reach" items that you'd like to do this week but can do the following week without the world ending, you should stick to the things you actually have time to accomplish. If you write down 40 tasks, then you'll just feel bogged down and overwhelmed and won't know where to start. When you make your daily or weekly list, you can separate the items in terms of urgency. You can label them, "Things I have to get done today," "Things that need to get done this week" or "Things I have to do by the end of the month." This will help you put things in perspective and will help you prioritize your tasks.

How To Get Organized And Stay Organized Continued Keep your planner up-to-date. Maybe you had an awesome planner when you first decided to get organized, but now you barely glance at it. Well, you need to get back into the habit of filling out your calendar on a weekly basis and of knowing what you have to do when. Having everything written down can help you plan future events and will give you a sense of what the week ahead has in store for you. You may not realize that you're going to have a busy week and that you'll need to budget your time accordingly until you notice that you've written "dentist appointment," "work project due" and "baby shower" down for the same week. Make a habit of checking your planner every morning, updating it as needed, and even crossing off the things you had to do. If you like using your phone or computer better, there are countless apps that can also help you schedule your time and to stay organized. Some of them cost money but people swear that they're worth it. Some of the most common apps are RescueTime, CalenGoo, Freckle, Things, and Mindnode. See if one of them works for you. Doing this digitally, even if you just plug things in on your iPhone, has the added advantage of you using a feature that sends you a reminder when you have an important event coming up.
Remember that drawers are your friend. If you want to stay organized, then you should stick to using drawers, boxes, and other forms of organization to keep everything in your home together. You might have set them out for this purpose and then forgotten to use them, and it's important to make sure you stick to the organizational method you've set up for yourself. Devote 5 minutes a day to inspecting the cubbies, drawers, and boxes you've created and make sure that everything is where it should be. Consider having a little cubby or drawer to organize the things you keep on the table in front of the TV. This could be where you place your remote, stray pens, magazines, and anything else you occasionally use in that room. This can look better than just throwing lose odds and ends on the table. Consider having a drawer on your bookshelf for loose items. You may not have the perfect place for extra CDs, odd-sized books, albums, or other loose items that don't quite fit on your shelves but don't belong anywhere better. Using one of these on your shelves can help everything stay organized. Use plastic trays under your kitchen and bathroom sinks. People tend to just throw plastic bags, cleaning supplies, detergent, and other household items under their kitchen sinks as well as a hodgepodge of beauty products and other paper products under the kitchen sink. Investing in just a few plastic drawers that can each be designated for certain items (such as a drawer for cleaning supplies or extra shower supplies) can help you feel more organized.

Devote 10-15 minutes a day to organization. This doesn't sound so bad, does it? Find a time to take a 10-15 minute "organization break" from whatever you're doing to go around your house or office to make sure everything is in order. Is your desk as orderly as it could be? Have you folded and put away your clean laundry? Did you empty the dishwasher? Did you tie up all those loose ends at work? Take a walk around the house as well as one last peek at your calendar to make sure that you're not neglecting anything. Making this an important part of your day can help you stay organized. If this really sounds painful, you can do it with the TV and radio on. It won't take much effort to organize your side table while you're watching TV, will it? Though multi-tasking big tasks is not a good idea because it makes it hard for you to fully focus on one task, there are ways that you can cheat when you're trying to organize stuff around the house. While you're checking in with your mom on the phone, fold your laundry. When you're on hold with the credit card company, do those dishes. Find ways to make the best use of your time.
Keep a notepad handy. You can use a physical notepad or one on your phone or another electronic device if that's how you prefer to take notes. Having one nearby can help you write down anything that comes to mind -- such as the fact that you need to pick up paper towels, or a new way to organize a project for work -- so you don't completely forget the brilliant thought you just had. Make a habit of writing down any stray useful thoughts you are likely to forget and check in with that notepad often. Writing down your thoughts can also help you feel more in control of your daily tasks. Keep a journal. No, keeping a journal won't help you organize the stuff under your kitchen sink, and it probably won't substitute for filing all of those pesky papers on your desk. But keeping a journal can help you stay organized in another big way -- by giving you time to slow down and to write down your thoughts. You may feel constantly overwhelmed or like you're spinning out of control, desperately trying to check off a few items from your to-do list, because you never pause to take a break. Writing can help you do that. Writing down your thoughts and feelings, even if they have nothing to do with how to organize your life better, can make you feel more in control of your life, and can help you slow down long enough to get centered.
