connecting him with the surf community and his new business took off. Eventually she moved away and didn’t leave a new number. She figured he had a family and she was a single girl still looking for Mr Right.

Several years past and She was rushing home from Los Angeles and discover a new Target had opened in her old area so she pop in there to pick up something before continuing on to San Diego. At this point it had been about 6 years. As she was leaving she heard her name, since she hadn’t been in the area for years she didn’t even turn around. She heard it again, she turned around and it was Ramon. He no longer lived in the area either, he was there doing a corporate training and saw her on the security camera. He stopped the meeting and ran out to catch her. They caught up on their family, work & spiritual lives. After a quick hug they parted and there went another 7-10 year gap.

Denise & Ramon Denise and Ramon met 20 years ago and had kindred spirits,they’re both the type of people that are known for going out of their way for others. They’re passionate about making a difference and known to be the one you can count on within their own circles. In their hearts they both knew if they hand picked the type of person they wanted to share their lives with they would pick each other hands down.

20 years ago they were just friends both in relationship but shared lots of common interest. Denise likes to say it wasn't their season to be more than friends. Ramon likes to say God was
preparing them so that they could appreciate what we have now.

The people that know their true story feel that this relationship was fate. Cheesy I know but here’s their story.....judge for yourself. When Denise met Ramon 20 years ago they ran into one another while she was shopping for art supplies. He mentioned how much he loves art but of course she thought it was a way to connect and not truly his passion. Within a few minutes they were talking about the different type of paints, brushes, oil vs water color. She quickly realized he really doe’s know art! Over time he would meet her at the local Kinkos to watch her progress
on marketing campaigns she was designing. He was so intrigued but honestly she felt like he was the natural one with all the artistic talent.At a time when drawing concepts without the help of clipart like we use today was they case, she remember looking at him and saying you’re the one with the real talent, people would pay for the designs you create your really good! As the months rolled by she insisted he come up with a business name by the next time he saw her along with 3 logo designs for his new business. She had that much faith in his creativity and ability. We you guessed it Ramon came up with a business name and the 3 logo designs she requested. The business was called “Heaven on Earth Designs” named after his daughter. Heaven. She loved it! She ended up
After dating a handful of guys that were not the one to say the least, Denise really begin to think about her need to get specific in her prayers. She thought it was important to identify what truly mattered the most. Denise realized she wanted someone that understood her work and how important her clients are to her. Someone that gets her values and also shares them. She wanted someone who’s culture is truly big on family and understand family is the village you create. She began to think about the cultures around her that are big on family. Her mind went back to her days growing up in Southern California on the beach. Rain or shine you could always find a polynesian family cooking. Mom, dad, grand parents, uncles, aunts tons of kids. They always invited any other children close by their area over to eat or play.

It made her smile and she remembered her dear friend Ramon, who was born and raised in Hawaii. Her heart warmed because he was such a compassionate guy, gracious, considerate loved kids and was kind to anyone that crossed his path. You would never know he was ex military.

Denise wondered where he was and what he was doing. She wondered how his life had grown, if he had more kids. Then she thought “ok, that’s what I want a nice guy like that! OK God, I know he’s not available but if you can send me a carbon copy that has his heart, passion & zeal I would be so happy.”
!
Two weeks later she was traveling on business and end up chatting with a computer gaming programmer. He reveled that his true passion is fine art. She encouraged him to pursue it even if only on the side. Right before they touched down he told her he had a website with his art and would love her opinion. Neither of them could find a pen so he verbally told her the name of the site. It was a combination of his name and his
passion Ramonart.com or something like that.

I don’t recall now she said as she reflected on the incident. However what I do remember was my jaw dropped when she heard the name Ramon and art. She said oh my goodness I have an old friend named Ramon and he’s literally the only other Ramon I know not to mention, he’s an artist!

She committed to looking at his art and told him, who knows maybe this is a sign I’ll run into him again.

When she got back she thought how strange was that? Of all the names, of all the people. she smiled and just felt happy remembering what great synergy they had working on projects together.
!
Denise thought about how in their 20’s everyone has the conversation that starts like this: “if money wasn’t any issue and you could do anything with your time what would you do?”
!
She remembered asking Ramon that question back when they were doing design work. His answer shocked her! He said without missing a beat, that’s easy I
know exactly what I would want to do. “I would love to have a huge facility where kids could come and play any type of sport they wanted, soccer, football, basketball...and it would be free for the parents.
!
Surprised by this reply she asked him why. He said I just feel that sports has the ability to change a kid, it gives them confidence they didn’t know they had, it can put them on a whole new path and in many cases save them. It’s so expensive for parents that I wouldn't want money to ever be an issue.

Now press pause, Fast forward after her trip she thought to herself, I wouldn’t even know how to find Ramon at this point it’s been so long. Her graphic artist that worked for her at the time had a personal issue and left her with no notice. GREAT SHE THOUGHT, people just have no professionalism anymore... I swear I wish I could find someone like me that get’s the client is always first, you always finish the job and you treat every client or job like it’s your first one. As she took a deep breath and then came back to reality, she thought man I bet if Ramon was
Then it hit her, I’m always hearing about people who reconnected on Facebook, maybe I should look him up. At his point Facebook was rumored to be more for kids then real professionals, she figured what the heck. She typed in his name and there was only about 500 Ramon. Benz listed, most were, you guessed it kids. As she went to close the computer down she remembered his company name “Heaven on Earth” She thought there can’t be a lot of people named Heaven Benz. She found a few and then looked for one who had a relative or parent listed as Ramon. she wrote her and asked if her dad was still doing design work and asked if she could have him contact her. When she finally heard back she discovered he wasn’t doing design work any longer. He had been coaching, football, soccer, basketball and even track. She felt so happy and excited that he was living his dream. One thing she learned from working for Tony Robbins is that often times our dream can look different and often times we’re living it and don't even realize it.

They reconnected 1 time over the next year and shared a few emails on Facebook. She felt proud and jealous at the same time. She saw him as a man who is secretly living his dream and no one really knows this was his dream. If only we could all be so lucky! When she saw him he didn’t seem like the bubbly happy guy from 20 years ago. She was just happy to see her old friend. What she discovered a year later is that he was actually in the midst of a divorce. When he told her she couldn’t believe it. She recalls saying that’s a horrible thing to deal with alone. How come you didn’t tell me last year when we talked. He’s reply was so beautiful and pure. He said Denise, you’ve always been sunshine and I didn't want to dampen that with my situation. I didn’t want to be the guy that shows up after 20 years and of course ....he’s having relationship

issues. I just wanted to see my old friend who always believed in me and who was always positive. I guess I just need to see and focus on something good in the midst of my problems.

Over the next several months they texted every now and then and she invited him to a few things.

Chelsey Warren-Tippett, Le Anthony, Le Anthony Tippett Jr. and Le Shay “Denise” Tippett. In the name of breaking tradition and setting their own rules. Chelsey who’s like a daughter to Denise always wanted to be the flower girl. True to form Denise said you’ll be the first 25 year old flower girl and I wouldn't want anyone else!
So, we leap forward and as fate would have it his daughter Heaven said dad, your single now you need to start dating... you should ask your friend Denise out, just go. You never know where it could lead. The rest is history! Ramon left the Management World and Coaches full time! Denise is the CEO of Authentic Speakers Agency, a booking & management agency that represents professional speakers and experts. As for the wedding, they wanted elegant, comfortable & fun. They described the energy like a family reunion, where you laugh, meet new friends, dance & eat great food.

They asked guest to choose a seat, not a side. They really wanted a wedding that celebrated family and the blending of 2 worlds.
!
In addition to the traditional vows they had a special ceremony called a sand ceremony prepared. Each child poured sand into a vase as minister Ahmondra called them up and talked about what they mean to their family. Each person represented a letter spelling out the words “Our Family”. Included in that ceremony were Ramon’s Children; Heaven Benz, RJ Benz, Ocean Benz, Glory Benz, Cherish Benz, plus Denise’s neice and her family;
