For nearly 30 years Denoyer-Geppert Science Company has been providing educators with hand-crafted anatomical models made in the United States. Repeatability Once a single student has performed dissection of a particular structure, no one else can perform that particular dissection. Anatomical models can be used over and again to discover and uncover anatomical structures. Simulators and procedural trainers offer hands-on learning opportunities that can often be reset or performed again and again. Accessibility Not every school can have a cadaver lab - budgets, space, and limited human resources will probably always be constraints that inhibit many undergraduate programs from having this resource. Additionally, think about areas such as the inner

ear which require specialty vvinstruments to dissect. Models can provide a visual and kinesthetic stimulation to improve learning of these areas. Perspective Shifting Anatomy is a rich subject that requires many different experiences and intelligences to comprehend. Learning anatomical terms alone is like taking on a whole new language for most students. Add to that, complex 3D spatial relationships and even abstract concepts such as body planes, and students need every opportunity to use all their senses to observe and learn the information. HANG-UP MOUNT

Skeleton is suspended from a support ring above the skull. Skeleton quickly detaches from hook to allow manipulation in the prone and supine positions in addition to those of the erect posture while hanging.

HAND-PAINTED AND LABELED MUSCLE ATTACHMENTS

All the bones on the right half of the skeleton have been enhanced with hand-painted muscle origins (red) and insertions (navy) which have their names hand lettered in place. Where space limitations prevent spelling out muscle names, alphanumeric coding is employed. Additional colors diﬀerentiate the components of the erector spinal muscle complex from other muscles of the neck and back regions — iliocostalis: origins (orange), insertions (yellow) — longissimus: origins (dark green), insertions (light green). On the left half of the skeleton, all bones and osteological features of anatomical and clinical significance have been number coded for identification. A comprehensive key to all coded structures is furnished. Hand-painted and number coded skeletons are identical to painted and labeled skeletons but with number coding for muscle attachments instead of labeled names.

C. Deluxe Female Suspension Skeleton

Molded of special non-breakable plastic which closely approximates the appearance, feel and weight of real bone, even fine surface detail is faithfully rendered. Except for the skull, bones are individually articulated. Vertebral discs are flexible — one lumbar disc is herniated. Unobtrusive articulation of the limbs permits realistic movement while allowing easy removal. Non-corrosive fittings are used throughout. The highly accurate three-part skull has a sectioned calvaria, and the articulated detachable mandible incorporates the full adult dentition.
