Tara Aghaloo, DDS, MD, PhD

Saj Jivraj, DDS, MS.Ed.

Dr. Tara Aghaloo is a Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the UCLA School of Dentistry. She completed her dental training at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency and M.D. at UCLA. Subsequently, she completed a Ph.D. in oral biology at UCLA. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Her clinical practice focuses on bone and soft tissue regeneration and dental implants. She is also active in professional organizations where she is the 35th President of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO), Board Member of SORG North America, member of the Osteo Science Foundation Scientific Review Committee, member of AAOMS committees, fellow of the ITI, and section editor of IJOMI.

Dr. Saj Jivraj completed his dental degree at the University of Manchester in England and his Advanced Prosthodontic training at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He is the Former Chairman Section of Fixed Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry at University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Dr Jivraj currently holds a Faculty Position as an Associate Clinical Professor at the USC School of Dentistry and Clinical teacher at the Eastmann Dental institute in London. He is Co-Founder of the Digital Dentistry Institute (www.ddidental.com) which is a global training institute that provides dental professionals advanced training in aesthetic and Implant procedures. Dr Jivraj maintains a private practice, limited to prosthodontics and implant dentistry in Oxnard, California.

Oded Bahat, BDS, MSD, FACD

Michael Klein, DDS

Dr. Bahat graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand School of Medicine and Dentistry in South Africa in 1977. He received his specialty degree in Periodontology and his M.S.D from the University of Washington in 1981. He has been a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology since 1986. He was the chairman and director of the Post Doctorate Periodontics at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in Los Angeles, California, from 1983-87. He has published over 50 scientific articles and has edited multiple chapters in various textbooks. He is on the review board of the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants as well as The Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research. He is currently in a private practice, limited to surgical reconstruction implant surgery and periodontics in Beverly Hills, California.

Dr. Michael Klein, graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School. He went on to complete a General Practice Residency program at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Klein received his training in Oral Implantology by completing a two-year, full-time Fellowship in Oral Implantology and Biomaterials at the Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He then completed Specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Klein was a Clinical Associate Professor at New York University College of Dentistry in the Department of Periodontology and Implantology for 17 years. He has pioneered the technology used in computer guidance for dental implant surgery and holds multiple patents for this technology. He has co-authored a book, The Atlas of Oral Implantology, as well as numerous book chapters and articles on implant dentistry. Dr. Klein speaks nationally, as well as internationally, on a variety of topics in oral implantology. Dr. Klein is the CTO of the Keystone Dental Group.

Stephen Chu, DMD, MSD, CDT

Sanda Moldovan, MS, DDS

Dr. Chu, received his undergraduate degree from Brown University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He obtained his Master of Science degree in Restorative Dentistry and completed the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at the University of Washington, in Seattle. He subsequently became a board-certified dental technician in ceramics and obtained a master’s degree in Dental Technology from the New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD). He is the former Director of the Continuing Education Program in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry at NYUCD. He is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics and is the Director of Aesthetic Education at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. He has authored two textbooks on color and aesthetic/cosmetic restorative dentistry and has contributed chapters to several others. He has published numerous articles in dental literature and is the section editor for a dental journal and is on the editorial board of four others. He is a much sought-after teacher and a worldwide lecturer in aesthetic restorative dentistry and implant dentistry.

Dr. Sanda Moldovan is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She received her postgraduate training in periodontics from the University of California Los Angeles, earning a Master of Science in oral biology from UCLA. Additionally, she is a trained and certified nutritionist, as well as an American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) diplomate. She is a faculty member of the Global Institute for Dental Education (gIDE) and is a frequent speaker on periodontics and nutrition for Nobel Biocare. She is an editor for the Inside Dentistry magazine and is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and About.com. Dr. Moldovan is also the author of Heal UP! Seven Ways To Faster Healing And Optimum Health. Dr. Moldovan has performed live dental-implant surgeries for the CBS network’s renowned TV show The Doctors and serves as an oral health consultant for network television shows on CBS and NBC. Currently Dr. Moldovan is a practicing periodontist and nutritionist in Beverly Hills, California, and Manhattan in New York City.

David A. Gelb, DDS

Jay Neugarten, DDS, MD, FACS

Dr. David A. Gelb, completed his DDS and Certificate in Periodontics at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York and his implant surgical training at the University of Toronto. He is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Periodontology, a Fellow Academy of Osseointegration, and a Fellow American and International College of Dentists. He is on staff at Hartford Hospital and has provided implant services in West Hartford for over 25 years.

Dr. Jay Neugarten graduated class valedictorian and is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at North Shore University–Long Island Jewish Medical Center and earned his medical degree at Stony Brook School of Medicine. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Neugarten is also an associate clinical professor at both New York Hospital Cornell–Weill Medical Center and North Shore University–Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he is an active educator of residents. Dr. Neugarten has lectured both nationally and internationally on implant reconstruction. He specializes in bringing a multidisciplinary approach to complex implant and bone grafting reconstruction, as well as in the treatment of patients with skeletal facial and craniofacial deformities, utilizing corrective jaw surgery and distraction osteogenesis.

Mariano Polack, DDS, MS

Dr. Graziano Giglio received his DDS degree and certificate in prosthodontics from New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Giglio became a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics in 1992. He is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, the American College of Dentists, the Greater New York Academy of Dentistry, the Northeastern Gnathological Society, and the New York Academy of Dentistry. Dr. Giglio is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor and the Director of Fixed Prosthodontics in the Jonathan and Maxine Ferencz Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry. In 2013, Dr. Giglio received the Prosthodontist Private Practice Award from the American College of Prosthodontists. He conducts a full-time private practice in a multidisciplinary office with his wife, Dr. Ana Becil Giglio (periodontist), in New York City.

Dr. Polack earned his dental degree in 1995 and his specialty training in Prosthodontics and Master of Science degree from the University of Minnesota in 2000. Since then, Dr. Polack has been involved full time in private practice in Northern Virginia. Between 2002 and 2004, he was also a Guest Scientist at the Ceramics Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology where he was involved in several dental ceramic research projects. Dr. Polack has published more than 40 abstracts and papers on prosthodontics and dental materials in various scientific journals and lectures both nationally and internationally. He is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, American College of Prosthodontics, American Dental Association, and a founding member of the multi-specialty Gainesville Study Club in Northern Virginia.

Paul Rosen, DMD

Gregory Toback, DMD, MS

Dr. Paul Rosen has maintained a full-time private practice, limited to periodontics, surgical implant placement and regenerative therapy. He has academic appointments as Clinical Professor of Periodontics at the University of Maryland Dental School and Clinical Professor of Periodontics and Oral Implantology at Temple University Dental School. Dr. Rosen is board-certified (Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology). Dr. Rosen is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and has written over 50 articles and five book chapters. In 2015, Dr. Rosen received the Master Clinician Award by the American Academy of Periodontology. He has also received the Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Achievement from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2020. The University of Maryland Dental School is where Dr. Rosen received his master’s degree and completed his periodontal residency and implant training.

Dr. Gregory Toback is a board-certified periodontist who has developed a multi-location, multi-disciplinary dental organization for over 20 years in Connecticut and Rhode Island. Dr. Toback attended dental school at the University of Connecticut (Award for Excellence in Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry) and completed his periodontal residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He has served as a clinical professor at UCONN School of Dental Medicine, he is a clinical investigator for the prestigious McGuire Institute, and has authored papers in major periodontal and dental implant journals.

Anthony Sallustio, DDS

Dr. Anthony Sallustio has been practicing prosthodontics and maxillofacial prosthetics in central and north New Jersey since 1997. He devotes his professional time to private practice, hospital-based dentistry, and dental education. After completing a degree in Biology at Seton Hall University, he attended the State University of New York, School of Dental Medicine. A four-year postgraduate training followed to complete his prosthodontic, maxillofacial prosthetics, and dental oncology specialties.

Dr. Frank J. Tuminelli received his DMD and training in prosthodontics from FDU School of Dental Medicine. He is a Diplomate and Director of the American Board of Prosthodontics and the Program Director of Graduate Prosthodontics at the Manhattan Veterans Administration, NY. He served as Program Director for NYHQ from 2010 – 2016 and the Northwell Health System 2000–2010. Dr. Tuminelli is a past President of the ACP, the GNYAP, and the current Chair of National Commission on Dental Specialty Recognition. He is a clinical assistant professor at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine, and adjunct clinical assistant professor NYU School of Dentistry. Dr. Tuminelli served as the Team Dentist for the NY Islanders for 10 years. He lectures nationally and internationally, having presented over 70 invited papers, and has contributed to the scientific literature with multiple papers. He is the recipient of the 2017 Educator of the Year Award from the ACP and maintains a private practice on Long Island and in New York City.

Giorgio Tabanella, DDS

Dr. Giorgio Tabanella is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Active Member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and author of the book “Retreatment of failures in dental medicine.” He graduated from the University of Southern California-Los Angeles-USA where he obtained the Certificate in Periodontics as well as the Master of Science degree in Craniofacial Biology. He was awarded “Outstanding Periodontal Researcher In Surgery And Implantology” by the California Society of Periodontists for his study on bone remodeling. He is the Scientific Coordinator of the International Implant Conference, Director of O.R.E.C.-Oral Reconstruction and Education Center and reviewer and author of original articles published in peer-reviewed journals. His research focuses on tissue regeneration and augmentation with different bone and soft graft materials, peri-implant and dental bone loss, novel protocols for the repair of ailing dental implants. He maintains a private practice in Rome, Italy.

Dr. Chandur Wadhwani, originally from London, England, received his undergraduate degree from the University College London School of Dentistry and was awarded honors and distinction in dental surgery. He taught at the dental school in London as a clinical lecturer in the restorative department for many years. He received his specialty certificate in prosthodontics as well as a master’s degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2004. Dr. Wadhwani is an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at UW and also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University and Clinical Assistant Professor at Oregon Health & Science University.

Dennis Tarnow, DDS

Dr. Dennis Tarnow, a graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry, is a specialist in both periodontics and prosthodontics, and former chairman of the college’s Department of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. Presently, Director of Implant Education at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Tarnow has written over 100 scientific papers and has co-authored or contributed chapters to several textbooks, including “Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry.” Additionally, he is section editor of two dental journals and on the advisory boards of five others. One of the most sought-after speakers at international dental implant symposiums, Dr. Tarnow is the recipient of numerous awards for his many significant contributions to dentistry.

Dr. Peter S. Wöhrle received his DMD degree (cum laude) and a Master of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from Harvard University. In addition, Dr. Wöhrle completed the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics and the Advanced Education Program in Implant Dentistry at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and a four-year certified dental technician program in Switzerland. While at Harvard, he worked with his mentor, Dr. Paul Schnitman, on the groundbreaking concept of immediate loading of Branemark implants. Once in private practice in Newport Beach, California, Dr. Wöhrle applied these principles to the concept of immediate tooth replacement in the aesthetic zone. His private clinic in Newport Beach, California, is limited to implant and prosthetic dentistry.

Gabor Tepper, MD, DMD, PhD

Hooman Zarrinkelk, DDS

Prof. Gabor Tepper graduated from medical school sub auspiciis praesidentis and from dental school with distinction. He simultaneously taught head and neck anatomy for 16 years at the Vienna Medical University. After postgraduate studies at UCLA, he joined the department for oral surgery at the MUW - the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, where he was in charge of postgraduate education and specialized in implantology and oral surgery. Today his private practice focuses on immediate implantology & prosthetics with over 40,000 implants placed. Prof. Tepper's constant goal is to develop concepts in implantology that fight over therapy, reduce surgical risks and trauma thus providing for a better patient experience. He gave more than 350 presentations about his main topic all over the world. Dr. Tepper received 12 national and international awards and published scientific publications in journals and textbooks.

Dr. Hooman Zarrinkelk received his dental degree from Loma Linda University. Following dental school, he was appointed as “Research Fellow in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery” at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Parkland Hospital. He returned to California to complete his oral and maxillofacial surgical residency training at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a fellow of American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Zarrinkelk maintains a private practice in Southern California with emphasis on complex dental implant rehabilitation and is the director of ZAGA center Los Angeles.
