Directions for the Phở infused rye:

Ingredients:

-Old Man Que Huong Pho Bac Spice

-Seasoning (#IYKYK)

-Rye Whiskey (I like Old Overholt when I'm feeling #niftythrifty and Rittenhouse otherwise)

Special Equipment:

-Mortar and pestle (or spice grinder)

-Coffee filter

-Silicone ice cube trays for large cubes or spheres

This cocktail is an homage to my Vietnamese roots and the “original" cocktail, the Old Fashioned. For optional added fun, use a lime ice cube to create a transitional cocktail: A cocktail which changes flavor as the ice cube melts.
