Fr om t he C EO Dear Friends, Over the Christmas holiday I had an opportunity to visit my son’s church. Projected on a front wall of the auditorium were some words that I was surprised to see. Surprised because it was the Christmas season and I expected to see, at the front of the church, words about Jesus’ birth or perhaps even a manger.
why Jesus came as a man into this world, and that is why our staff comes to work every morning. We are welcoming people who have been forgotten or discarded by society and we are working to restore, renew, reclaim, and redeem them! Please join us in this life changing work! God Bless,
These were the words: People, even more than things, need to be restored, renewed, reclaimed, and redeemed. We must never throw out anyone. –Anonymous This is what we believe at Fort Collins Rescue Mission. This is what we are trying to do. People matter to God—that’s

Robert is a shelter guest who is very grateful for a place to sleep each night, especially during the cold winter months. He says,”I have a broken hip and the soft mattresses at the Mission make it feel better. It’s always warm in here and the people are always nice. They always give good support, too—whether religious help or just daily living suggestions, they always have resources.”

In February, the average low temperature in Fort Collins is well below freezing. As we turn our thermostats up and add a blanket to our beds, the homeless in our community become more desperate for housing. Look inside to see what having a warm bed at Fort Collins Rescue Mission means to our guests.
