Take just one ride in the 2017 Toyota Prius Prime and it should exceed your expectations if not beyond. Prius Prime is the name of the plug-in version of Toyota’s hybrid, and it offers a lot more than just extended electric range and distinctive styling over its non-plug-in stablemate. The steering and handling is easily adjustable, comfy front seats, great climate controls, a high-tech infotainment system with a huge screen, excellent fuel efficiency, better looking than the standard hybrid Prius. The all-new system uses an enormous 11-inch LCD that supports multi-finger gestures and integrates the Prius' climate controls. Its ecofriendly and fuel efficiency proves how this vehicle is the “green vehicle.” It allows you to drive 25 miles on electric battery then shifting to gas when the battery runs low, saving you time and money especially if you are on a long drive or simply just stuck in Colorado traffic.
In hybrid mode, the Prius Prime gets 50 mpg overall, and the battery recharges in 5 hours on standard on 120- volt power. The 2017 Prius Prime combines an electrifying design with an even more capable electric powertrain than the previous-generation model. The drive is comfortable and inside the materials used does the job for what Prius customers have come to expect. The knobs and buttons are easy to navigate, and all your needs are right at your fingertips. One huge advantage is that safety is clear when riding in a Prius Prime. The vehicle detects and beeps when both the driver and passenger is not buckled up and if you thought reverse parking was hard, the Prius Prime takes care of that problem with its backup camera that helps you see when backing up. There is space to set up items to vend as well as a community room for classes or meetings.
