Emergency / Evacuation
For your safety and that of all other occupants of the building, we ask you to observe the following Safety Procedures.
Arrival at your accommodation
• Identify the nearest emergency exits to your accommodation (access to stairs if you are staying in an accommodation on a higher floor).
• Check the position of alarm buttons and fire extinguishers installed in the corridor leading to your accommodation.
• Always respect the Hotel's internal "no smoking" policy.
In the event of fire
• Keep calm.
• Activate the nearest alarm and/or contact Reception from any telephone.
• Close the doors to prevent the fire from spreading.
• Do not attempt to fight the fire.
• Once the exit and/or stairway is clear, never turn back.
• In the presence of smoke, keep as close to the ground as possible.
• Do not try to carry any baggage with you, your life is far more important.
• If you are housed in an accommodation on an upper floor, use the emergency stairs, always descend against the wall.
• Do not go back.
• Do not use the lifts.
If you are locked inside your room or suite during a fire
• If you cannot leave your accommodation safely, do not leave.
• Keep calm.
• Keep the door closed to prevent the fire from spreading to the interior.
• Contact Reception on one of the phones in your accommodation and clearly state the accommodation you are staying in and the number of people in it.
• Turn off the air conditioner immediately.
• Fill the basin with water.
• Use wet towels to cover the joints of doors and ventilation grills.

• Take your key with you.
• Using the back of your hand, check the temperature of the door before opening it.
• If the corridor is clear of smoke, you can leave.
• Do not try to carry any baggage with you, your life is far more important.
• Leave your accommodation and make sure you close the door.
• If it is clear of smoke, use the nearest emergency staircase, always descend against the wall (when housed on an upper floor).
• Do not go back.
• Do not use the lifts.
• Follow the instructions provided by the Hotel's Emergency and Evacuation Team.
• Staff from the Resort's Emergency and Evacuation Team will direct you to a meeting point where they will identify you and register you for absence checks.
Blocked exits
If the safety conditions for leaving your accommodation are not satisfactory or the emergency exit stairs are obstructed, return to your accommodation, and proceed as described under "If you are locked inside your room or suite during a fire ".
