Designed for 3-6 year old children to improve thier balance and as a starter of their bicycle journey In collaboration with: Ä°zmir, 2019

Research and Problem Identification A balance bike is a training bicycle that helps children learn balance and steering.

Fork angle must be less than 90 degrees in order to provide a comfortable ride Seatpost should be adjustable to the height of the children Cockpit area must be spacious enough for child to move

To ride a balance bike, the user must gain speed while they are on foot since it does not include any pedals The riding can be exhausting if used for a long time, thus, footrests should be provided to rest the user while balanced.

Context

Outdoor

Revising the Inital Prototype

Initial Prototype

I tried different handlebars on the completed body and after the user trials, I choose the first one but I revised it for a better and safer usage.

Clearance of the footrest is too large for the wheel to be attached safely, also it is too close to ground. The fork angle is too narrow that creates discomfort.

How might we empower senior customers in their digital banking experiences? He is having trouble while using mobile banking on website and mobile app because he finds them confusing and hard to track. Also he is having trust issues with the current guidance system. He wants to be guided through his experience in the fastest way. If he feels like he knows each step of what he is doing, he can feel more comfortable and use digital banking more often.

Faucet inspired from architecture of Cinnah 19 building to enhance the bathroom experiencewith its elegant style. ID302 Industrial Design Studio 2020

Literature and User Research

Spread fit faucets provide durable usage. They also save water and gas money

Ball jointed faucets are popular because of their usage easiness.

Faucets should not be too close to the sink

However, in time they become hard to adjust the right water flow and temperature.

The handle should not be on left or right but on front.

Idea Generation and Architectural Sightseeing Cinnah 19, designed by Nejat Ersin, is considered as one of the most successful example in means of modernism. It is located at the Cinnah Street which is at KavaklÄądere/Ankara

Cinnah,19 Entrance roof

The building contains lots of inspiring elements, however, the entrance roof striked me the most. Thus, I am inspired from the entrance roof of Cinnah 19.

User Research and Prototyping My target user group is busy people who can only find time for ironing once in a week. They would like to decrease their ironing time, since they are ironing all clothes at once, they are needing a lot of water to fill the iron with. Instead of going to bathroom everytime to fill the tank they want a simpler solution.

The users tried the prototypes with different solutions of water tanks which are removable. Also they tried different handle and button options and found the gray model more comfortable and practical.

Usage Scenario

Remove the water tank

Fill the tank with water

To start, wait for the red light

After the red light, you can start ironing

Adjust the temperature and start the iron

Rest the iron on short breaks

Finalization Stryofoam Mock Up

Easy to use, simple buttons with a new approach of main button for quicker ironing

Cable wrapper for storing the iron tidyly. Silione frame to increase friction.

Diamond plate increases the efficiency of movements
