De Beers Workshop / Logo as Mark
During the Fashion bachelor’s degree course I followed a workshop with the international jewelry brand De Beers. It was focused on reinterpreting the brand’s logo. I chose to create a ring with a simple shape, a high value and focusing on the engraving. Depending on the observer’s point of view he can see different colors on each side of the triangle carved inside the logo. If looking from above it is blue and looking from the bottom it is yellow.

Deganit Stern Schocken Workshop / Modular Articulation
The workshop “Fence and Gate was the second one of the course leaded by israeli artist Deganith Stern. I started my research thinking about old fences used to protect fields. I elaborated the modules with a particular articulation that allowed the pieces to adapt to the shape of the body while in the same time creating elaborate figures.

Internship project at Gubo Design / Dynamic bracelet
After the masters degree in industrial design I had a short experience at Gubo Design Office in Milan. The office created watches and a few jewelry for famous brands like Breil, Puma, Fc Internazionale and so on. One of the assignments was to create a jewel for the Swiss brand Alfex. The collection was designed for a young target and was supposed to be fun to wear. I took inspiration from contemporary architectural shapes like the ones designed by Zaha Hadid. I created a bracelet with an “irregular volume” that was cut inside like a tunnel and had a little ball in it that moved around like a “toy”.

A SHORT EXPERIENCE OF LUXURY, TWO THOUSAND KILOMETERS LONG
First wax sculptur / Bela cross This was the first wax prototype I developed. Carving the wax was like being part of the piece in a direct and instinctive way. I tried to create a cross with a double ring to emphasize the symmetry of the jewel. In the end I got in contact with Legor Group SPA, one of the most import companies of jewelry production in Vicenza to produce the final piece made with silver.

Jewelry contest “ Sentimental Jewelry ” / Reflective Heart The Reflective Heart pendent pulses in its shape, the reflex expands all over its surface as a mirror of the soul. Who better than the heart to represent life, death, love, memory? The heart is made with silver and the chain has a coverage made of ceramic. The blue and the red stand for the venous and arterial blood, that “meet” in the heart are pumped to the rest of the body.
