You have the option to start a free trial and then the membership is just $17 a month. Or if you have a specific goal in mind, you can purchase a single course for less than $50. They offer everything from The Essentials – which is an hour and a half of learning just the basics of cooking. It’s a great course for beginners who want that solid foundation. Then you can move on to the advanced level for less than $20. Most of the other courses on this site are between $15 and $20 and range from Nutrition Specific to Indian, Italian and more. With access to hundreds of courses you’ll be cooking like a pro in no time.
There are also free courses available if you’re not wanting to commit to a membership and you’re comfortable with a summarized lesson. BBC Food offers over one hundred courses, free of charge, for a variety of skill levels. All of their courses are quick and concise and most of them are under a minute long. Just be aware that you’ll need to covert from Celsius and the metric system.
Another free option is Top Chef. This one offers 20 courses with over 200 lessons available and easy to find recipes from beginner to expert. With professional instruction literally at your fingertips, learning this new skill doesn’t have to be overwhelming. So what are you waiting for?
