Theatre Camp Teaches Acting, Singing, Dancing, and More!

Palm Springs, Calif. – Palm Canyon Theatre (PCT) will hold its 27th annual kids’ summer camp from June 12-July 21. More than a dozen theatre professionals will mentor youth in performing and stagecraft. The center includes instruction in acting, singing, dancing, makeup, set design, props, costuming, stage combat, improv, and more. In addition, campers will learn skills that will help them prepare for an audition or improve their selfesteem for a school presentation

PCT offers summer kids camp for young artists, ages 6-17, for six weeks, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Each week has a particular theme, including Western, Halloween, Princess, and Super Heros. Participants will be divided into age-specific groups to learn the different components of theatre. In addition, the camp holds weekly showcases for family members to see the kids progress. Campers can participate in the whole camp experience or every week.
