Barcelona has a great variety of restaurants of all kinds and for all tastes and budgets. It is possible to find from the world famous fast food to the author best known restaurants. One of the most flexible formulas to save on food, is to eat in any of the many restaurants that offer a noon menu, where you can enjoy a three-course meal (first and second courses, dessert and drink) for less than ten euros. Here are some recommendation on famous places in Barcelona, where you can eat well without spending much. La Champañería. This classic bar in Barcelona, which actually is called Can Paixano, is a rather famous. It’s very small and there are very few chairs, so you usually have to eat standing up. The site offers champagnes and sparkling wines and a good selection of snacks and hot and cold sandwiches. In this place you can eat and drink for less than five euros per person and is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 10:30pm. Conesa. This little place of the Gothic Quarter is also a classic in Barcelona, where you can eat salads, hot and cold sandwiches. Its menu is varied and you’ll find new and original combinations. The night of Barcelona offers endless possibilities, both to go drinking and dancing until dawn. Most clubs includes a drink with the price of admission, but once prices ranging from 5€ to 13€ in the most exclusive locations. If you want to go out and spend little, we suggest you go to any of the following locations: L’Ovella Negre. This student bar is one of the cheapest in Barcelona, where you can buy a pint of beer or sangria for six euros. It has two locations, one in the center of Barcelona in the Raval, and another in the area of Poblenou, which is actually larger. Both sites are open until 3am. Red Rocket Bar. This bar is located very close to the Ramblas and provides 1€ beers until 10pm. A perfect choice to start the evening. Codols 21, 08002, Metro: Drassanes.
Discotecas. Many of the discos and clubs of Barcelona, such
as Guru, Sotavento, Shôko and Opium Mar, let you get in for free before 2am if you are listed on any guest list, such as Shaz’s. TIPS: Going back to where you’re staying after a night out can be difficult in many cities. Barcelona taxis charge a special supplement for services after 10pm, however, the Barcelona public transportation runs all night, so you can save a lot if you buy a T10 card of TMB, which lets you get on the Metro, Bus and Tram. ·Bus: The Nitbus works from 11pm to 6am, every 20 minutes and there are travel routes throughout the city. ·Metro: The metro runs from Sunday to Thursday until midnight, Friday until 2am and Saturday overnight.

Barcelona has many museums to visit, and most of them offer reduced rates for students, teachers, children and seniors. A few also offer the opportunity to enter for free on specific days: Museu Picasso. This museum, which houses some of the most representative works of Picasso, allows free admission for children under 16 and adults over 65 years. It is also possible to enter without paying every Sunday from 15:00 to 20:00, and the first Sunday of each month, throughout the day. Carrer de Montcada 15, 08003, Metro: Jaume I.
MNAC. The Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, located in the Montjuic Palace, also allows free entry to children under 16 and those over 65 years. Caixaforum. The social and cultural center CaixaForum
is located in Montjuïc and is a free space where you can find various interesting exhibitions, and activities of all kinds. Av. Marqués de Comillas 6, 08038, Metro: Espanya.
Palau de la Virreina. The Virreina Image Centre is an area that offers cultural exhibitions organized by the Municipality of Barcelona, and is a magnificent example of Baroque architecture in the city. La Rambla 99, 08002, Metro: Liceu.

If you enjoy walking outdoors and want to make the most out of the good weather we usually have in Barcelona, you can walk through its many squares and parks. Most of the charming squares are found in the old town, the Plaza de San Felipe Neri, the Plaza del Pi and Plaça de les Olles. Some of the parks that we recommend are: Parc Güell. The famous park designed by Antoni Gaudí is one of the best options, both for its beautiful architecture, and by the breathtaking view of the city. This park is free and has a small museum for which you have to pay (6.50 €). Carrer de Olot 13, 08024, Metro: Lesseps.
Parc de la Ciutadella. This central park is also free and has a Zoo (16 €). The park is quite large and has a lake and a small waterfall. It is a great place to stroll over the weekend. Passeig Picasso 1, 08003, Metro: Barceloneta / Arc de Triomf / Ciutadella Vila Olímpica.
Parc del Laberint d’Horta. This fabulous park is a hidden

In Barcelona there are some attractions that are free and spectacular, an excellent option for making the most out of your holiday in Barcelona. Catedral de Barcelona. The Cathedral of Santa Eulalia is an impressive Gothic church. You may visit it for free at certain times, which are posted at the entrance. Outside these hours the entrance must be paid. In addition, the Cathedral has a cloister which is accessed by a side street. You should refer to the schedule, as times are changed regularly. Plaça de la Seu s/n, 08002, Metro: Jaume I.
La Font Màgica de Montjuïc. This large and impressive fountain offers a nightly light and music show. It’s located in Plaça Espanya, a few steps from the MNAC. The schedule for this show varies depending on the season. Avenida María Cristina, 08004, Metro: Espanya.

Palau Güell. This fabulous palace, which has been declared a
