Qui in Toscana ci sono diversi piatti tipici mase penso al Chianti la prima cosa che miviene in mente è il cinghiale. Deliziosepappardelle al ragù di cinghialeaccompagnate da un calice di Chianticlassico: la mia idea di tipico pranzo

but if I think of Chianti, the first thing thatcomes to my mind is wild boar. Deliciouspappardelle with wild boar ragù, accompaniedby a glass of classic Chianti: my idea of a typicalTuscan Sunday lunch.

Pappardelle with wild boar ragù

Pappardelle, carne di cinghiale, spezie, vino rosso, olio, cipolla,prezzemolo, sedano, passata di pomodoro

Marinare la carne per una notte negli odori, spezie e vino rosso pertogliere il forte sapore selvatico. Il giorno dopo si taglia a pezzettinie si mette da parte. Soffriggere in un tegame con olio la cipolla, ilsedano e il prezzemolo aggiungendo un po’ di acqua e poi ilcinghiale a pezzettini. Dopo averlo fatto soffriggere un po’aggiungere la passata di pomodoro e un po’ d’acqua. Cuocere afuoco lento per 3 ore. Aggiungere il ragù alle pappardelle cotte.

Pappardelle pasta, wild boar meat, spices, red wine, oil, onion,parsley, celery, tomato sauce.

Marinate the meat overnight in the aromas, spices and red wine toremove the strong wild flavour. The next day cut it into small piecesand set aside. Fry slightly the onion, celery and parsley in a panwith oil, add a bit of water and then the meat cut into small pieces.After frying it a little, add the tomato puree and some water.Simmer for 3 hours. Add the ragù to the cooked pappardelle.

Molto interessante è la festa del Vino che si tiene a Greve in Chianti di solito la seconda settimana di settembre. Una vera e propria giornata dedicata ai vini toscani. Con il bicchierino infilato in una specie di sacca al collo che regalano all’ingresso si può andare in giro per i vari stand a degustare i vini. Very interesting is the Wine Festival which is held in Greve in Chianti usually the second week of September. A day dedicated to Tuscan wines. Se consideriamo la zona del Chianti gli itinerari enogastronomici sono un must, ma è molto bello anche accompagnarli ad altre attività come la visita di alcune cantine vinicole, di frantoi e di fattorie per poter comprendere meglio tutte le tecniche e tutto il lavoro che c’è dietro la produzione dei prodotti enogastronomici più famosi della nostra regione. Inoltre, i borghi medievali che si trovano nelle vicinanze dove si respira un po’ di aria di storia e si ha sensazione di andare indietro nel tempo. Storia e cibo sono il connubio perfetto. Per una vera e propria giornata culturale basta spostarci di qualche km per andare a Firenze e fare una immersione nella storia e nell’arte rinascimentale. Firenze ha moltissimi musei e chiese da visitare, alcune famosissimi come gli Uffizi e la Galleria dell’Accademia, e altri meno come il Museo del Bargello o la Chiesa di Santissima Annunziata. I vostri occhi si riempiranno di immagini meravigliose che non potrete mai dimenticare. Ci sono moltissimi borghi medievali che sonopoco conosciuti dove potete ammirare lemeravigliose campagne toscane e sorseggiareun bicchiere di vino circondati dalla natura. Inestate organizzano anche alcune sagre chesono principalmente frequentate dallepersone del posto o anche alcune rievocazionistoriche che nonostante siano molto semplici,sono rimaste davvero autentiche.Many medieval hamlets that are less knownwhere one can admire the astonishing Tuscancountryside and sip a glass of wine surroundedby nature. La leggenda del gallo nero, il simbolo utilizzato proprio per classificare i vini Chianti e che si trovano su tutte le bottiglie. La leggenda racconta che nel periodo del Medioevo Siena e Firenze si contendevano il territorio del Chianti proprio per la sua posizione strategica al centro tra le due città. Siccome la guerra tra loro durava ormai da tanto, decisero di porre rimedio utilizzando un metodo un po’ inusuale: le due città scelsero due cavalieri, che al mattino avrebbero dovuto svegliarsi al primo canto del Gallo. Il punto d’incontro tra i due cavalieri sarebbe diventato il confine del Chianti tra le due città. Siena scelse un gallo bianco e Firenze un gallo nero ed adottarono due strategie diverse. Siena riempì il proprio gallo di cibo pensando di dargli più energie per svegliarsi prima al mattino e invece Firenze fece digiunare il proprio gallo affinché la fame lo spingesse a non dormire. E infatti affamato e stanco il gallo nero di Firenze fu il primo a cantare così che il cavaliere fiorentino riuscì a partire con largo anticipo e ad accaparrarsi gran parte del territorio del Chianti.

Themeeting point between the two knights would havebecome the Chianti border between the two cities.Siena chose a white rooster and Florence a blackone, and adopted two different strategies.
