1our Talet play. That year, Top Trumps and fidget spinners were the new craze. Everyone would play in class with it. In English, we had Miss Kraus. We learned multiplication that year with lots of rhymes and songs to make us remember our times tables. We even created our own rhymes. We went to the Mo Math Museum in the city. At the end of the year, we had a reading log party. We also made ices with candy fish. We froze them overnight and ate them the next day. It was such memorable year!

Graduation appears to be culmination and an end of sorts, but in reality it’s just the beginning. The past 8 years have helped you solidify the foundations for your future in life. You have learned from and have been cared for by some of the finest and most respected principals, teachers, and Rabbis. There is no doubt that the seeds that they planted in you will blossom and deliver fruits of success in the future. It is not an easy world out there, but it’s a beautiful world when you have the tools to navigate and enjoy life, and that’s what we hope you have received while in elementary school. Soon you will be going into high school. It is our hope and prayer that you continue in the path that you have started and that you maintain your connection to the teachers, and Rabbis that have cared for you all these years. We are confident that you will become the future leaders of our community and be shining examples of what means to be a YDE graduate!
