` How did I know Nara Clay? ´ Nara Clay is the first clay I used for creating my works. Actually, a friend of mine recommended Nara Clay to me. He asked me to try Nara Polymer Clay to create my work. Then, I realise that my vision is opened because I only knew about modeling clay since I was young. I really can’t imagine how my work will be if I used this clay. Hello. My name is Best, Krittapak Chankam. I’m working as a sculptor, art toy and cartoon toy designer.

What do impressed me about Nara Clay?Since my work style is Realism, or human-like model. It has always been struggling for me to find clay with particular features that serve my purpose.

Though searching and trying so many brands, I could not find the one. In later on, after trying Nara’s Sculpture Clay (Hard Type), I felt that this clay is suitable for my work with the characteristics that is able to hold shape and communicate fine details. It is just a perfect one for me.

Oil based modelling material that never shrinks, dries out, or hardens after being left out in the air. It can be used over and over again. No mould or fungus can be formed. Due to no preservatives are added, making it totally safe for children.

Our clay is non-toxic, although we do not recommend eating, in the case of ingestion, body will digest clay without any harm.

CORN CLAY

Made from corn that never dries out . Gluten free and safe for chidren.

Corn clay is very soft, colourful and easy to shape. Its shelf life is approximately 3 years.

FLOATING CLAY

Oil based modelling material with a lower density than water giving the ability to float. The finished product can float freely in water and is the perfect choice for bathtub playing.

As it is oil based, Floating Clay will not harden or dry out.

After finished playing, the clay can be left out to dry and can be used over and over again. Its shelf life is approximately 3 years.

GLUTEN FREE DOUGH

Water based modelling material that is extremely soft to touch. The dough can dry out if left in the air for 1-2 days. Our dough is gluten free and totally safe for kids. (Gluten is Protein from wheat, barley, and rye).

As it is water based, water can be added in small amounts to reactivate the dough again if it starts to dry out during usage. However, Gluten Free Dough needs to be kept in airtight storage in order to remain soft and not dry out. Its shelf life is approximately 1.5 years.

LIGHT CLAY

It is a super soft air-drying modelling material. It is self-hardening and dry out naturally. Once dried, the figure will hold its shape permanently.The clay itself is light weight.

Light clay needs to be kept in airtight storage in order to remain soft and not dry out. Water can be added in small amounts to reactivate the clay. Its shelf life is approximately 1.5 years.

FOAM CLAY

Foam based modelling material contains small foam beads that gives an interesting and unique texture. It is water based and air-drying, therefore the finished piece will hold its shape after being left to completely dry.

Foam Clay needs to be kept in an airtight storage in order to remain soft and to avoid it from drying out. Its unique feel is what sets it apart from any other modelling materials. While active, it can stick to itself and any surface without glue. Its shelf life is approximately 1.5 years.

Magic Slime is very soft and not sticky to your hands and clothes. You can stretch, fold, twist, spread as you like. Magic Slime can be paired with some of your favorite beads, sequins, accessories, etc.

Children can create any shapes what they want, which helps to develop children’s manual production ability and imagination. Magic Slime is non-toxic, safe for the children. Put the slime back in the bottle and cap after use to prevent the Magic slime from drying out.

PAPER MACHE

Made of paper pulp and built in glue. It is easy to use, just mix the Paper Mache and water in a 3:1 ratio. The advantages of using Paper Mache are to achieve a nice textured look. Acrylic or poster paints can be applied after it dries out to perfect the look of the finished product.

The pure paper pulp does not contain any traces of ink, since it is not made from recycled paper. Therefore, it is completely safe for children. Its shelf life is approximately 2 years.

CRAFT TOOLS

It is an air-drying modelling material mixed with a special fibre, which strengthens the product when it is dried, making it harder and tougher than normal air-drying clay. It is relatively fast drying (depending on the size of the project) and will completely dry within 24-48 hours.Once dried, the project will hold its shape and get durable.

After it has dried, it can be painted with acrylic paints to perfect the final outcome. It is perfect for creating model figurines or for decorative projects around the house. AIR-DRY CLAY (HARD & STRONG) needs to be kept in airtight storage in order to remain soft. Its shelf life is approximately 1.5 years.

AIR-DRY CLAY (FLEXIBLE & TRANSPARENT)

Water based, air-drying modelling material that dries translucent, can bend and twist completely without breaking or shattering as it has high fl exibility and high elasticity. It can also be pulled into thin petal-like shapes making it perfect for making flowers, as the stems and petals will bend freely without breaking after it has completely dried.

Oil based colours and inks can also be mixed in while working with the clay. After leaving it to dry completely for 24-48 hours, acrylic or poster paints can be applied. Its shelf life is more than 1 year.

AIR-DRY CLAY (LIGHT & FIRM)

AIR-DRY CLAY (LIGHT & FIRM) is durable. It’s drying naturally. No oven is needed. After dried out, the project will hold its shape. It’s not waterproof. Colours can be mixed with clay or paint after dried out.

AIR-DRY CLAY (LIGHT & FIRM TOUCH) is perfectly for a doll or model that needed the light weight with finest details. Easy to paint. AIR-DRY CLAY (LIGHT & FIRM) is for artist or children could enjoy with their imagination.

POLYMER CLAY

The “make and bake” clay hardens after baking it in an oven about 15-30 minutes (depending on the size of the project) at 130˚C (265˚F). After baked, it will completely harden and hold its shape. It can be painted with ink or acrylic paint.

It is ideal for sculpture and jewellery making. The clay will require some conditioning as it will be very hard and tough initially. You will need to knead it until it becomes soft and workable, a roller or a pasta machine may be used in softening the clay. Its shelf life is approximately 2 years.

Create your own design.

Wash hands with soap and water before and after using NARA Polymer clay. Choosing the desired colour and knead in your hands until it is warm and easy to work with.

Shape the clay into your chosen design.

Put the finished shape into an oven and bake at 130˚C (265 ˚F) for 15 to 30 minutes. The baking period may vary depending on the size of the model. Do not put any accessories into the oven.

Leave your creation cool down and use sandpaper to remove any rough area. Painting with acrylic colours can be done (if needed).

CERAMIC CLAY

It is a heavy - weight modelling material that comes from the earth. Often used in the making of ceramic pieces, the finished product needs to be fired in a kiln at 1,000-1,200°C. Ceramic Clay does dry if it is left out in the air.

BASIC COLOURS

To reactivate the clay, just add water to moisten the dry section and resume constructing your masterpiece. Ceramic Clay needs to be kept in airtight storage in order to remain soft and not dry out. Its shelf life is approximately 1.5 years.

Knead and shape. A finished product needs to dry up within 24 hours on open air in a normal temperature without shrinking or bending. The finished product can be painted and vanished. To get porcelain, it must be fired at 1,000-1,300 ˚C (or 2,012-2,192 ˚F)
