Aiken Hosts SC State Disc Golf Championshop

Spartanburg County’s ACE After-School Program

Participants in Spartanburg County’s ACE After-School Program are spending the cold winter afternoons drinking all the hot chocolate! By the looks of it, they also played a game called “How many marshmallows and pieces of candy can fit in one cup?” Challenge accepted. Aiken County PRT hosted in December the SC State Disc Golf Championship with 65 total players (amateurs & pros). Age ranged from 15 years of age to 65.

The Cooking Lab in Charleston

Island Collective and My Organic Bakery of Charleston partnered together to develop a new program called, The Cooking Lab at our newly built Daniel Island Recreation Center. Children learn about cooking creativity and nutrition, and make meals together each week. Let the good times ‘roll’!
