Mount Dora stands on its own as a unique historic and arts focused community in Central Florida. Tree-lined streets and quaint historic buildings conceal a deep love for the arts in the community that bursts into display during the special events that take place in the community, many of which are art focused.

The Mount Dora Public Art Plan lays the foundation for the future of public art in the city and prepares the city to expand its existing public art efforts to help ensure that the physical environment reflects the art focused culture of its residents and visitors. The public art investments in Mount Dora will be a tool to represent the past, present, and future of Mount Dora.
