Retaining half embryo interest

This cow family is becoming more and more prevalent at Cates Farms as well as the entire breed. This powerful young female is a full sister to our 7144 donor cow. I’m not sure how many of you have been raising Shorthorns long enough to remember our Nobody’s Fool cow, but this is the 2020’s version of her. That cow changed our herd and the breed by injecting so much volume, muscle, and stoutness into her offspring at a time it was needed. I believe this female could make a tremendous impact on the breed by producing both male and female progeny.

This female checks all the boxes for Kyle and I on what it takes to be a national level show female - plus she has the extras. We believe she is extra correct in her angles and on the move. We believe she has extra muscle bone and rib. We think she has extra extension and look up front and we think she will be extra fun the next two years to go and compete with.

This female is a past division champion at the Junior Nationals for Sara Sullivan. This female is a beast as she is so massively designed all the way through. I feel this cow family is just going to continue to grow in popularity.
