agic Springs & Crystal Falls is a fun amusement and water park located in Hot Springs, Arkansas. A single price admission includes all-day use of the rides and attractions in both

TENNIS The Coronado Tennis Center is a 13-court complex with USPTA Elite Tennis Professionals, lounge, and pavilion. Ten of the center’s courts are clay, and the remaining three are hard surfaces. The Hot Springs Village Tennis Association, with nearly 400 members, offers league play at all levels, including mixed leagues, women’s / men’s doubles, and junior tennis. USTA Adult Leagues are encouraged.
The Bocce Ball courts are located across from the Coronado Community Center. The game of skill and con centration, rather than physical stamina, is fun and easy to learn. It is played on a flat surface (similar to a bowling lane) with the object to position game balls as close as possible to the target ball (pallino). All equipment is provided by the Village Bocce Ball Club. SOFTBALL The Senior Softball League is open to men 50 years or older and women 35 years and older. The league plays two sessions each year: Spring (Apr. - Jun.) and Fall (Aug. Nov.). The games are played on Thursday mornings at the Boys & Girls Club’s field off N HWY 7.
LAWN BOWLING The Village Green Bowls Club is active all year. Lawn bowling is a game with moderate exercise. ot Springs Village is undisputedly renowned for great golf, but there is one private club in Hot Springs Village that boasts 18-holes of unrivaled, award-winning championship golf—Diamante Country Club. Golf Digest ranked Diamante as the number one golf course in Arkansas from 1997 through 2000. Practice your swing on Balboa Golf Course's walker-friendly course. Designed by Ault, Clark & Associates, Balboa’s wide fairways and few elevation changes offer walkers a great place to take a stroll while getting in a game. Water hazards, bunkers, and par 3s offer some challenges. Balboa’s 18-hole golf course includes a driving range, putting green, and short game area.
Short on time but still want to play golf ? Coronado Golf Course's executive-length par-62 golf course is just the place. Designed by Ault, Clark & Associates, it is the only executive length course in Hot Springs Village. Although Coronado does not have sand bunkers, the course is as challenging from 150 yards as any other HSV course. Coronado also offers a putting green.
CORTEZ GOLF COURSE Play Hot Springs Village Golf ! Cortez Golf Course, designed by Ault, Clark & Associates, offers elevation changes, water hazards, and five sets of tees that will keep most players happy. Cortez’s No. 10 is considered one of the toughest holes in HSV and No. 17 is breathtaking. The course features a driving range and putting green.
DESOTO GOLF COURSE DeSoto Golf Course is a great choice for families. The course, which was recently renovated, opened in 1972 as Hot Springs Village’s first golf course. Designed by Ault, Clark & Associates, the 18-hole course has three finishing holes and includes two par 5s and a par 4. DeSoto also includes a driving range and putting green.

GRANADA GOLF COURSE Ranked as one of the 10 best golf courses in the state by Golf Digest, Granada Golf Course is also known to be one of the most beautiful courses in Hot Springs Village. Enjoy the view of the waterfall meandering along the fairway of No. 18. The course, designed by Ault, Clark & Associates, includes par 3s, 4s, and 5s. Granada also has a driving range, putting green, and short game area.
ISABELLA GOLF COURSE Isabella Golf Course in Hot Springs Village was designed by Ault, Clark & Associates. The course is fun for both novice and professional, offering three nine-hole rotations — Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria— for a total of 27 holes of play. Ranked as the No. 1 course in Arkansas by Golf Digest, Isabella has plenty of twists, turns, and elevation changes to bring challenges to the game. here was something more to celebrate than just Independence Day on July 4th, 1972. This was the day. The Shack’s grand opening took place. Bill Cockman, a former forest service worker decided in 1972, it was time to change things up a bit and go to work for himself. Since he and his wife, Linda Cockman, owned the land in front of their house, they decided to build a restaurant. This restaurant, The Snack Shack, was open for business for the first time on July 4th, 1972, and the menu offered .50 cent hamburgers and .40 cent hand-mixed shakes along with a variety of other foods such as hot dogs and chicken strip baskets. To this day, Bill and Linda still live behind the original building.

he DeSoto Dog Park is a gated, off-leash park for well-behaved and healthy dogs. The site is approximately 1.5 acres of a level, open play area divided in two sections for use by large and small dogs. The park contains benches, watering stations, waste receptacles, and shade pavilions.

he DeSoto Family Recreation Area is fun for all ages featuring playground equipm ent, mini golf, and, basketball and pickleball courts. The playground, mini golf, and basketball courts are available for use at no charge, but players must bring their own equipment. t all started when Jessie Slick and his high school best friend went on vacation to Memphis. Jessie became interested in starting his own business after experiencing an axe-throwing bar there. Bringing the idea back home and asking his younger brother, Eddy Slick, to do the finances, they wondered if the company could be profitable in Hot Springs. After doing the math, they decided to give it a try. While working on plans in their parents’ backyard, they selected their father’s original target design for their company. Jessie’s wife, Randi, also decided to get in on the fun. Together, she, Jessie, and Eddie rotate shifts as receptionists. When you walk through the door at Big Axe Battleground, you are greeted by the receptionist, sign a waiver, go through an orientation of throwing protocols, and then you get straight into throwing. On staff is a handful of trained “axperts” as they call them. Axperts that are there to help you practice safety and technique. The axpert is there to assist you for the entirety of your stay, and they can even teach you how to play three different axe-throwing games. One of the most beautiful trails in the Village, Cedar Creek Nature Trail is an excellent area to enjoy wild flowers and bird watching. The trail consists of four paths: The Bluebird Path, Mourning Dove Path, King fisher Path and the Cardinal Path. Bridges across Cedar Creek separate the loops and there are several areas with benches overlooking the creek and a scenic pond. The trail is mostly level with a slight incline on the Mourning Dove Path. Two parking areas are available on Minorca Road. 3.1 Miles
This multipurpose trail is the longest in the Village, paralleling DeSoto Boulevard from the eastern crossing of Ponce de Leon Drive to DeSoto Nature and Spillway Trails on DeSoto Park Lane near DeSoto Dog Park and Lawn Bowling. The trail offers both level walking and some challenging hills and is a favorite among cyclists. It is particularly steep on either side of Minorca Road. The trail passes Grove Park offering access to park events and the Green Market ( farmers’ market). The surface is packed-gravel making it an excellent exercise trail for hikers, runners and cyclists. Mileage markers run from Coronado Fitness Trail east to west. Parking is available at the east-end trailhead, This is a beautiful meandering trail that connects the Ponce de Leon Center/Woodlands Auditorium, Danville Coronado Fitness Center and the Coronado RV Park. aklawn Racing and Gaming announced plans in 2019 to build an expansion project in excess of $100 million that includes the construction of a high-rise hotel, multi-purpose event center, a larger gaming area, and additional on-site parking. The project is one of the largest hospitality investments in the history of Arkansas. “This historic announcement represents a new chapter in the rich 114-year history of Oaklawn,” said Louis Cella, President of Oaklawn Jockey Club. “As we enhance the entertainment experience for our customers, we will also further elevate thoroughbred racing and help make Arkansas and Hot Springs even stronger regional tourism destinations.” The yet-to-be-named hotel will be seven stories with 200 rooms including two presidential suites. Amenities will
include an outdoor swimming pool, a luxury spa, fitness center and restaurant. “The hotel will offer a unique vantage point for our patrons in that it will overlook the track. Imagine the spectacular view as the horses are heading down the stretch,” said Cella. “Our goal is to achieve 4-star status.” Adjacent to the hotel will be a 14,000 square-foot multipurpose events center that will accommodate up to 1,500 people for various events such as concerts, meetings, banquets and weddings. The project also includes the addition of approximately 28,000 square feet of gaming space and a significantly expanded parking. Natural Falls State Park is home to a 77-foot waterfall which is nothing short of spectacular. Hike down the 47-step path to the base of the waterfall, and immerse yourself in the scenic wonderland of beautiful plant life. It is a protected ecosystem which means no swimming allowed, however, there is catch and release fishing. There is also fun, family-friendly hiking that is not too challenging. If you like Frisbee golf, they have a great course. There is a spacious camping area that includes a playground, picnic area, and grills. The park is pet friendly.
