The beach area has fine sand with shelters, additional picnic tables and grills available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Balboa Pavilion will seat up to 300 people and has a public announcement system, picnic tables, restrooms, grills and a fireplace. It’s a good venue for events with its
proximity to the beach area, large parking area, boat ramp and marina. The Balboa Marina offers boat rentals and snacks. It has both covered and non-covered slip rentals on a permanent or part-time basis as well as bait and tackle supplies. Boat slip rentals are available and are located on Lake Coronado behind the Coronado Fitness Center at 160 Ponderosa Lane.
