Welcome to Mining Life & Living Magazine
W
elcome to Mining Life & Living PNG. The team and I have been very eager to get this edition out to you with the celebration of the 2017 PNG Industrial & Mining Resources Exhibition being held at Port Moresby this August. Papua New Guinea is one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world. Most of the population of more than 7 million people live in diverse customary communities. It is also one the world’s least explored places, culturally and geographically. PNG is a very special place and we’re glad to be raising awareness of its benefits to tourists and industry leaders alike. In this issue, we share some news stories on the incredible sporting world of PNG, and, as usual, athletes from the country continue to move in leaps and bounds on the world stage. Check out the latest news from page 24. We also bring you an update from the PNG Tourism Authority, as well as some cooking tips on page 23. From myself and the team, we hope this issue of Mining Life & Living PNG immerses you into the culture enough to either visit, or extend your stay!

A WORD FROM THE
Papua New Guinea Tourism Authority
T
he economic benefit of building a thriving tourism industry is enormous. The tourism industry in Papua New Guinea must be strategically developed now, at the midst of the booming mining and petroleum industry. The tourism industry is truly sustainable and its benefits can trickle down to the community in rural Papua New Guinea, where the bulk of our people live. The mining and resources sector plays a significant role in the development of tourism through the creation of cottage industries and small to medium enterprises for local people in the mining and resource areas. The industry also plays an important role in tourism development through collaborations and partnerships with Government and State agencies, such as the PNG Tourism Promotion Authority in areas like human resource development, training and awareness. Now the onus is on the National Government and the Provincial Government to fully embrace the importance of developing the tourism industry and start allocating resources to build basic infrastructures and facilities in their respective communities so that locals can develop tourism products and services which will be offered to tourists. Almost 97 per cent of the land in PNG is owned by indigenous communities, so that means our people are directly involved in tourism activities.
O
ur biggest strength has been our unique and diverse cultures and traditions passed on from generations through myths, legends, song and dance through our 800 different languages representing hundreds of different tribes. These unique cultures are showcased around the country throughout the year at major cultural shows. While we are a Pacific nation surrounded by sea and dotted by some 600 islands, we are not necessarily a sun, sea and surf destination. Yes, we do offer distinctive island getaways to tropical resorts, but we are more of an adventure destination.
W
e have uncrowded beaches, surfing and wind surfing. We have some of the most colourful reefs filled with fish and other marine life, offering some of the best diving in the world. We are a bird watchers heaven and we also have a rich war history. PNG is also fast becoming a popular cruise tourism destination offering new and memorable experiences. PNG is truly the last undiscovered Paradise

Hagen Show – 19 August to 20 August Tribes from all over the Western Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea and other neighbouring provinces from the Highlands region will gather in the township of Mt Hagen to put on exciting cultural performances involving traditional dances, singing and ritual - rivaling that of the Goroka Show. The Hagen Show was first staged in 1961 before PNG’s Independence as an event to unify tribes. Local entertainers from the modern music scene will perform during the show. Arts and crafts will also be on display. Don’t miss out on this exciting cultural event in one of the Highlands regions biggest commercial township!
Frangipani Festival – 15 September to 17 September The Frangipani Festival celebrates the rebirth of Rabaul town in East New Britain after the twin volcanic eruptions in 1994. Named after the frangipani flower, the town’s signature bloom and the first plant to blossom in the midst of the ash, the festival brings together locals and former Rabaul residents in the spirit of renewal and to strengthen the partnerships in rebuilding one of Papua New Guinea’s famous historical towns. Some of the festival highlights will be cultural singsings, including the incredible Baining Fire Dance and the Tolai Whip Dance, as well as rock bands, colourful float parades, spectacular fireworks and an exciting canoe race around the famous Beehives (Dawapia) landmark in the Simpson Harbour. The residents of Rabaul welcome you to join them in this exciting event and watch Rabaul come alive once again like Mount Tavurvur.

Goroka Show – 15 September to 17 September The Goroka Show is a significant cultural event in the Highlands region of Papua New Guinea. It is also the longest running annual cultural festival in Papua New Guinea drawing thousands of tourists to the country every year in September during the nation’s Independence Day celebrations. The 2017 Goroka Show will be on the 15th to the 17th of September and staged in Goroka Town, Eastern Highlands Province. The Goroka Show aims to once more provide the best in cultural entertainment to the people of the Eastern Highlands Province and make visitors feel welcome from Papua New Guinea and around the world. Held every year during the weekend closest to Independence Day, the Goroka Show is Papua New Guinea’s most well-known tribal gathering and cultural event. The Kutubu Kundu and Digaso Festival celebrates the importance of the kundu drum and the Digaso oil in the traditional culture of the Kutubu people in the Southern Highlands Province. Hosted near the famous Lake Kutubu, local communities put on a Sing Sing spectacle and unite in a show of support and respect of eachothers cultural differences. Cultural groups will travel from remote parts of the province to participate in the festival celebrations. The people of the Southern Highlands invite you to join them in this extraordinary celebrational tribute to their incredible culture. The 2017 Kutubu Kundu and Digaso festival offers a rare treat of fascinating cultural performances from the Southern Highlands against the backdrop of the stunning Lake Kutubu.
Morobe Show – 7 October to 8 October The Morobe Show is hosted by the Morobe Provincial Agricultural Society and showcases the various agricultural, industrial and commercial features of the Morobe Province. The event also showcases the incredible cultural variety of Morobe, home to Papua New Guinea’s second largest city of Lae. The city is home to a growing number of settlers from the neighbouring regions of the Highlands, Momase and New Guinea Islands. Morobe Show has always followed the Goroka Show and Mt Hagen Show - giving tourists and inter-provincial show-goers time to visit and experience each cultural event. Visitors to the show can expect to see stunning exhibitions on Papua New Guinea culture, agriculture, horticulture, livestock, commercial businesses, NGO’s, schools and institutions. Some of the highlights of the Morobe show over the years, have been motorcycle stunts, traditional dress beauty pageants and rodeo style events.

SPORT FISHING
off the pristine coastlines of Papua New Guinea BY R.J. MARSHALL
H
idden in a picturesque cove between East and West New Britain is a secluded, yet renowned Sport Fishing and ecotourism lodge. Baia Sports Fishing Lodge is owned and operated by keen fisherman Riccard Reimann and this is my host for this trip. He tells me that lying in the Pandi and network of unchartered rivers, are the elusive Black Bass. The Black and Spottail Bass, both esteemed trophy fish among expert anglers, are abundant in these jungle rivers. Like the majestic Mt Ulavun, which towers ahead of us, the beasts here are big some even reaching over 50 pounds! However, I am reminded time and time again that opportunity favours the brave and only patience and skill will land these larger ones. Upon arrival I unpack my gear into one of the six rooms at the Baia Lodge, all with comfortable twin singles and pull up to the fridge at the bar to grab a cold one. From the bar the view is amazing. The calm ocean of the Bismark Sea stretches ahead, meeting the land of the East New Britain coastline. But the fish we’re hunting for aren’t hiding in the ocean. In the coming days we will explore the several river systems, each with their own characteristics
and each delivering a different and challenging arena to take on these river brutes. Sport Fishing in PNG is a major draw card for tourists worldwide and a largely untapped industry, making Sport Fishing businesses here few and far between. The fact that these lodges are scattered throughout the country, isolated from competition, makes them that much more appealing to travellers who crave adventure in quiet lands, with high action on the waters. Baia Sports Fishing Lodge has been standing here on smooth sands for the last 12 years and is named after the village which lies just a short walk away. The eco-tourism business brought here has created a selfsustaining cycle for the people of Baia Village, where income generated is used to improve educational facilities at their local school, purchase sporting equipment, install rain water tanks, improve the medical outpost and allow the maintenance of the community church - a place of congregation for the entire village. As well as benefitting the beautiful people here, the industry has allowed a team from Townsville’s James Cook University to conduct
academic research into the Black and Spottail Bass. The team, comprised of students and professors, are now into their third year of study into the Bass’ breeding habits and movement throughout river systems. The results are beginning to bring to light, some of the secrets that surround the infamous Black and Spottail Bass. Based at the lodge, the team visit rivers daily, tagging Bass and installing underwater receivers in prominent passageways which capture the signals of tagged fish whenever they pass by. Exciting discoveries are now being documented, all with the common goal to promote the conservation of both these endemic species and their habitats. Logging is now the biggest threat to our river systems, with soil erosion and sedimentation destroying the rivers and the life within them. Riccard reminds me that the Bass puts up one hell of a fight against any angler lucky enough to tangle with them, yet they are a very vulnerable species that require protection and conservation. These magnificent fish are the very foundation of a sustainable eco business venture which can support the livelihood of many.

The International Finance Corporation has partnered with the Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority to do market research over the next five months to assist Government develop the industry over the next decade.
T
he IFC said the tourism-demand assessment would measure the size, travel patterns and economic value of current tourist arrivals in the country. “It will assess the effectiveness of existing marketing activities and, crucially, project volumes and value of potential arrivals, with specific emphasis on high-spending niche markets. The projections will guide Government and private sector investments in tourismrelated infrastructure, products and services,” IFC Pacific Manager Tom Jacobs said. “The research will provide recommendations to the government to help it match tourism investment, development and marketing to target markets.” “Finding out what drives people to visit PNG and what is needed to bring more tourists - be it bird watchers, adventure seekers, or those attending cultural shows - will help grow holiday arrivals and create new markets in the future,” he said. In addition to national-level scoping, the study will provide specific market research and recommendations for East New Britain and Milne Bay. The IFC confirmed Euromonitor International had been contracted to conduct the research over the next five months and the study would incorporate in-depth interviews with source-market and in-country stakeholders.

The Tourism Promotion Authority said the research would build the case for necessary investment to grow niche markets that visit specific attractions. “PNG offers a diverse and unique visitor experience, with worldclass diving, surfing, vast flora and fauna, rich cultural experiences, major walking tracks, as well as Second World War historical sites,” PNG Tourism Promotion Authority CEO Jerry Agus said. In 2016, Papua New Guinea received nearly 200,000 international visitors with 29 per cent of those traveling for a holiday, including by air and cruise ships. PNG cruise tourism has grown rapidly over the past few years and now contributes an estimated additional 20,000 to 30,000 tourists a year. The addition of ports of call in Milne Bay and East New Britain has bolstered this potential. First published in PNG Report and reprinted with permission.

Nitto Kohki Australia, sole distributor of all Nitto Kohki machine and pneumatic tools as well as couplings also represents Kuken, another Japanese tool manufacturer and Cembre’s Italian manufacturers of rail products.
ATRA ACE - When Size Really Matters Nitto Kohki has developed the CLA-2720 for the Australian market with a capacity of 27mm diameter holes through 20mm mild steel and in a working environment where safety, efficiency and versatility are paramount, the CLA-2720 is a real game changer.
Safety – With no power cord, the CLA-2720 eliminates any trip hazards and coming in at a light-weight 7Kg the CLA-2720 also reduces manual handling risks, in fact the CLA-2720 is less than half the weight of other cordless magnetic drills on the market. Advanced electronic technology also increases safety through a number of features like Side Slip Detection and Excess Load Indication. The drill motor will also not operate when there is less than 30 minutes of magnetic power left in the battery, eliminating the possibility of the drill moving from the job during operation.
Versatility – At only 7kg in weight and 293mm in height, the CLA-2720 is ideal for work in tight spaces, elevated projects or work where access to power is limited. Once the magnet has been switched on, the unit has an adjustable drilling position feature that will give the operator 10mm of movement - allowing for precise positioning. The reversible feed handles allows best position to suit their application.
start technology it reduces large electric current on start up.
OZBROACH - HSS Cutters Along with these unique battery conservation features Nitto Kohki Australia have developed new OZBROACH Speed Cutters. Designed and made in Australia, the new thin wall design, superior heat treatment and advanced geometry will not only make holes fast but will increase the number of holes drilled per battery charge in the CLA-2720. Available in sizes from 12mm through to 27mm diameter, the new OZBROACH Speed Cutters will ensure peak efficiency from the CLA-2720. Compact, lightweight and packed full of the latest technology the CLA-2720 Cordless Atra Ace will deliver reliable drilling performance anywhere, efficiently and safely every time.
CUPLA - Get with the Flow demand Nitto Nitto Kohki produces over 20,000 different couplings to suit a vast range of applications. From standard air fittings, fluid and gas couplings to specialised safety fittings Nitto Kohki have you covered. With stringent quality control, a prerequisite in Japanese manufacturing, these fittings have a reputation for their durability and longevity.
To assist industries that require Cuplas with alternative body material, Nitto Kohki have produced some of their most popular ranges in both Brass and Stainless Steel; there are even lightweight plastic Cuplas perfect for industries where minimization of potential damage to paintwork is important. The Standard Hi-Cupla is the perfect all-rounder and handles a wide range of tasks from plant air piping to air hose application. It is designed with a one way shut-off valve in the socket and hardened materials makes it extremely wear resistant. For more specialised applications using stainless steel we suggest the SP Type A with two-way shut-off for medium viscosity liquids and gases or the TSP Cupla with its valveless structure, suitable for high viscosity fluids such as grease. With a simple and secure connection to braided hoses there is no hose clamp required.
Safety Cuplas With the extensive use of compressed air in industry today and the ever increasing focus companies have on their OH&S policies to ensure they have a safe work environment for their employees and visitors, Nitto Kohki Australia has released to the Australian market their comprehensive range of Safety Cuplas. One stand out example of innovation this range is the PVR. The PVR Cupla has been designed for Compressed air outlets in 1/2”, 3/4” and 1”. The ultimate safety features include a purge function and sleeve lock for larger diameter air hose.

othing is more delicious than Highlands Kaukau hot from the fire, unless it’s a mud clam from a mangrove swamp in Milne Bay cooked with fern leaves and coconut cream, or Dia, a Central District delicacy combing sago, bananas and thick coconut. It really depends on where you are, because all villagers are experts in cooking food specific to their area. In almost all areas food is considered to be divided into three main types. Those are edible greens (kumu), meat, fish or poultry (abus) and staples. In some areas cooks will only combine two of these food groups but in others everything can be placed into the same cooking pot. All food groups can be combined in mumu pits.

Local AFL Legend
multiple sclerosis diagnosis in childhood robbed Jonathan Ila of the chance to become an AFL player, but he has since been named national coach of the Papua New Guinea Flames ahead of the AFL International Cup. Ila remembers being told he had multiple sclerosis at age seven, but couldn’t comprehend the implications of the diagnosis, the ABC reported. “I didn’t know what I had, because at the time I didn’t understand what my sickness was,” he said. His family certainly understood. The Ila’s were wrongly told their boy was not expected to live beyond the age of 17. Jonathan is now 22. He is one of an estimated two million people worldwide living with MS, which interferes with nerve impulses within the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. Born into one of Papua New Guinea’s greatest sporting families, Jonathan spent his childhood following his father around at Australian Rules Football (AFL) games and watching his mother at netball, a sport she played at an international level. His siblings would also grow up be world-class sports men and women. Jonathan would soon require a wheelchair. “At first, I was really upset. I was devastated that I couldn’t do what other normal kids could do. But as I grew older, my parents

helped me adjust to life as it is now. I accepted it. It is part of me, who I am.” With that acceptance came a new set of ambitions. Jonathan still plays sport within the limitations of MS and can be found positioning his chair at leg slip for a family game of backyard cricket. But eight years ago, aged just 15, Jonathan decided he would channel his love and knowledge of sport into coaching instead. Following a series of conversations with local teenagers, he convened a family meeting and told his family he wanted to coach AFL. His parents did everything possible to grant that wish and within months, Jonathan had led the under 12 and under 13 boys to premierships in his rookie year. Jonathan still offers guidance to the juniors, but for the past three years has worked with the senior men and women and, with the support of Australian Aid and the AFL South Pacific, he recently earned his Level 1 coaching accreditation. The softly-spoken leader has been integral to the creation of the Sa’lle Dogs AFL Club and has also been named coach of the PNG national women’s team, the Flames for the upcoming AFL International Cup. Volvo´s new
SUPER COMBO
takes productivity to a new level
T
he EC950E is Volvo’s new flagship crawler excavator and it has already proven to be extremely competitive in its 95-ton weight class. Similarly, Volvo´s new 55,000 kg payload and range-topping A60H, the world´s largest 6x6 articulated hauler, sets new productivity standards for quarries, opencast mines and large earth-moving operations. While both machines offer state-of-the-art performance individually, it’s when matched together that customers can experience the unprecedented productivity and ownership advantages these units offer. “The EC950E and the A60H are the ideal pairing for mining or other large projects such as infrastructure, irrigation or major earthworks. Together they can move more material faster and more efficiently than any other combination of Volvo machines,” says A.M. Muralidharan, Vice President of Dealer Development & Sales Support for APAC for Volvo CE.
DURABLE AND POWERFUL With a bucket breakout force of 424 kN (SAE) and an arm tearout force of 408 kN (SAE), the EC950E offers superior digging force, particularly when working with hard and heavy materials. Powered by a 446 net kW (606 hp) Volvo D16 engine, the machine utilizes advanced technology built on decades of experience to ensure highly-productive operations. The EC950E features a wide track gauge, long track length, a retractable undercarriage and optimized counterweight, resulting in a well-balanced, solid machine. All machine interfaces — including joysticks, keypad and LCD monitor — are ergonomically positioned and designed for optimum control and efficiency. For increased versatility, the attachment management system enables the use of various attachments, allowing the operator to pre-set hydraulic flow and pressure through the in-cab monitor. The heavy-duty design of the EC950E ensures the job is done quickly and without delay. Built with protected components, including a heavy-duty boom and arm, a strong frame, and a heavy-duty plate, the machine can be relied on for longevity and sustained uptime in demanding applications.
LARGEST HAULER – MOVE MORE FOR LESS The ground-breaking A60H features the latest innovations from Volvo. With matched drivetrain, automatic 6x4 or 6x6 drive combinations (including 100% differential locks), all-terrain bogie, hydro-mechanical steering and active suspension, this machine is unbeatable. Fitted with an active hydraulic front suspension for higher hauling speeds in tough conditions, the A60H optimizes operator comfort and stability during travel, allowing more material to be moved in a shorter time for unmatched productivity.

The A60H is powered by a 16-litre Volvo engine, delivering not only 492 kW of power and 3,177 Nm of torque, but also excellent fuel efficiency. It also embodies the full articulated hauler concept, providing total versatility so customers can access the entire jobsite and climb steeper gradients. Customers can work in all seasons, terrains and applications, while a choice of machine configurations and tires means the machine can be tailored to suit the application. A number of safety features such as superior visibility and efficient lighting help keep the operator and people around the machine safe – no matter how demanding the environment. The A60H’s dump support system, Hill Assist and load and dump brake, further help the operator stay in control, delivering extra productivity and safety.
PERFECT COMBINATION OFFERS BEST RETURN “Companies can be sure they’re getting the best ‘cost per hour’ or ‘cost per tonne’ when using the EC950E and A60H,” notes A.M. Muralidharan. “In addition, because we manufacture our own engines, drivetrains, drop boxes, etc., customers know that performance is perfectly matched across the machine – and between ranges.” Backed by its experienced and skilled network of dealers, Volvo CE offers some of the best customer support programs in the business, including customizable packages. For those wanting the very highest levels of aftermarket service, there is the Gold Customer Support Agreement, which delivers best-in-class parts, repairs, inspections, maintenance and more. This ensures that critical project sites, such as mines or large infrastructure jobs, stay on schedule.

World class fleet solutions on your doorstep GPS Fuel Management Technology MasterSystem Technologies - a PNG owned and operated fleet management company and a channel partner of MiX Telematics – is leading the way when it comes to helping a range of companies to track fuel and reduce fuel shrinkage from theft levels of up to 30% to as low as 1% with Telematics. To the transport sector the loss of fuel can in some cases account for the whole profit margin of the load. The main highway to the Highlands is a hive of opportunity for fuel thieves. This includes both drivers and casual road side population raiding stationary vehicles or drivers removing fuel at roadside stops for sale to the population. With the advent of GPS based fuel system MasterSystem Technologies helps companies to track the fuel from purchase from the oil company through to the actual usage and burn rate. To accomplish this there are two technology based platforms installed and operated: • The fuel system on the main storage tank and fuel pump. • The GPS / In-Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) in the transport truck. The system caters for inventory management tracking the issuance of fuel and the vehicle fuel is being issued to. The IVMS connects to the CAN/ECU on the vehicle which accurately tracks and reports the precise fuel being used in real-time and retrospectively and shows a discrepancy between issued and used fuel. With the knowledge of missing fuel on a trip not only can the driver be confronted and required to pay for missing fuel but the location where the fuel was removed can be shown. The impact of this combination system has reduced fuel shrinkage by up to 30% in many transport fleet operators from: • Confirming and reconciling purchased bulk fuel stock (proof of delivery) • Confirming and reconciling used fuel with issued fuel.

Coca-Cola Amatil Telematics also helps Coca-Cola Amatil to effectively manage their fleet of 203 vehicle across PNG. The biggest impact that they have seen from using the technology has been on driver safety with significant reductions in driving violations since the inception some 4 years ago. This has permeated into a significant reduction in the accident rate and injuries and even loss of life. The system has provided a significant value to this fleet in the control of vehicle usage specifically vehicles classified as “tools of trade” and limiting the use of this fleet to only business activity. This has seen a reduction of over 90% of vehicle misuse in after hour trips. Tools of Trade and general vehicle abuse is monitored and tracked by the 24/7 call and fleet control centre in Lae and Port Moresby. The company has also adopted a “cross region” competitive programme to manage driver performance with regions competing to reduce violations and increase driver banding. Reports published on a monthly basis provide the platform for this: Fuel issues are tracked through the MiX Fleet Manager platform with vehicles compared with peer groupings of like vehicle types to highlight obvious discrepancies. Mining Sector Application MasterSystem Technologies also serves the mining sector and provides mining operations such as Barrack New Guinea with the fleet and fuel solution to enable them to track and manage fuel usage whilst improving safety and fleet utilisation at the same time. In the case of the mining sector generally the system commences with catering for fuel demand planning in monitoring stocks in accordance with usage to ensure safety of supply. In the graph below the in country fuel stock is plotted vs the current 10 day average of fuel usage to derive and index of the days of stock on the country. For supply chain the system is able to keep a check on the flow of fuel stocks into the operation. With IVMS installed across the fleet and all plant and equipment, all fuel issued over the complete mine site is tracked and accounted for right through to the fuel burn index. Not only will possible fuel loss be checked but so too will vehicles burning excess of average due to mechanical fault. The GPS based fuel and IVMS system integrates to provide a totally seamless fuel issuance system in that the pump is Geo-Fenced to a high resolution. When vehicles

enter this pump Geo-Fence, the vehicle recognises this and provides an at location event. The GPS driver ID key then provides access to the pump and fuel transaction. The Odo and hour meter are stored automatically by the trip end within the pump zone. This renders the fuel transaction totally remote.
Vehicle and Driver Safety Over the previous two years the BNL Porgera mine has suffered an increase of 65% in vehicle incidents. These range from minor infringements to major collisions with injuries. Telematics creates the environment for increased safety through improved driver behaviour. The principal tool here will be the “Speed Restriction by Location” tool which enables speeds to be set for specific road sections to induce driving standards conducive to safety for the direct road condition. With all haulage contractors using telematics, the Mine is able to track all incoming fuel and freight loads. In addition to providing the mine with transparency of their cargo over the full 900km + route from the coast, it also gives the mine an indicator as to when to prepare unloading equipment and resources for specific loads. This same tracking capability allows logistics mananagement at the mine to manage the freight contractors all the way from the loading at the coast to the mine and to have a view of all aspects including driver safety.
Asset and Fixed Plant Monitoring In PNG significant amounts of Electrical Power are produced by Diesel Power Generating systems.
Genset Monitoring Systems The goal of Genset monitoring is to reduce risk of catastrophic failure of the power generation plants and to reduce servicing and general operating costs. The focus of the system is on monitoring and sustaining the condition and performance of the engine oil between services as well as monitoring of key engine operating characteristics with interactive alerts based on real time exception monitoring. By monitoring the engine oil condition the service intervals will be optimised set to true oil condition.
System Hardware Components • Online WEB hosted Data Logger/Controller • Oil Temperature sensor • Oil Pressure sensor • Coolant Level Sensor • Oil condition Monitor • Oil Bypass Filtration system • Fuel Burn Flow Meter • Fuel Level Sensor if bulk tank present
Item System Operating Parameters The Power Plant Monitoring system is focused on monitoring the entire operating system and providing real time alerts including: • Service scheduling and alerts based on oil condition relative to serviceable oil life remaining. • Oil condition and quality trends • Engine hours and hours to next service • Fuel Burn consumption rate and volume burned • Average engine temperature • Average engine oil pressure • Alerts in real time through e-mail and SMS based on • Catastrophic change in oil condition • High engine oil temperature • Low oil pressure • Low coolant level • Change in fuel burn • Remote shut down capability.
