Session 1:

10 Types of Innovation: Survey Your Company’s Innovation Performance Prior to initiating the innovation process, we must understand the environment and context in which we are working. We believe we understand our business context. We live it every day. The truth is that it is challenging to step back far enough to see the context without your everyday filters.

The 10 Types of Innovation method will generate a profile and analysis of your: financial framework, core business processes, product (service) performance, product (service), systems, and customer experience. The result – surfacing opportunities for emergent innovation.

Session 2:

The Opportunity Algorithm: Turning Stakeholder Input Into Innovation Many companies struggle to transform customer and stakeholder input into innovation. Customers and stakeholders provide feedback based on current or previous experiences resulting in incremental not transformational change.

Applying the Opportunity Algorithm will yield new customer insights and enable you to elicit valuable and actionable input that sparks innovation and customer loyalty.

Session 3:

Reverse Innovation & Breakthrough Innovation: Lessons From the Field We have all heard of writers block. Have you heard of innovation block? When facing our greatest challenges, dealing with constrained resources (human or financial) we often become paralyzed. Worse yet, we resort to a deficit mindset – and all innovation ceases.

Sources of inspiration and solutions are hidden in the most unlikely places. Reverse Innovation offers a new lens and fresh perspective with which to explore your unsolvable issues.

Session 4:

July 8, 2014

Creating an Agile, Innovative Culture: Assessing Today, Planning for Tomorrow Is it time to drive innovation throughout your company? Do you know the level of innovation performance that currently exists? Using two distinct innovation design methods you will uncover invisible work structures and connections that reinforce your processes Intentional or not - these structured and connections impact performance and culture.

We will walk through a validated innovation measurement inventory. Leave with a renewed understanding of how to grow an innovative organization.

Session 5:

Prototyping: It's Not Just for Apple Gaining comfort with prototyping (yes even prototyping services and processes), you will learn how to test drive your concepts. Ensure your solutions are aligned with your business imperatives and are capable of engaging your customers!

Using two different innovation design methods you will practice aligning your ideas and research into a prototyping process.

INTENSIVE July 22- August 5,2014 Session 6-8:

Innovation Playbook: Disruptive Innovation Designed for You Because this three part session requires a baseline of innovation methodology; it is open only to individuals who have completed at least two other innovation classes.

Innovation is complicated. Designing and implementing growth plans are complex tasks for any company. When faced with an unexpected challenge you will pivot, shift focus and be ahead of the game with your Innovation Playbook.
