WELCOME to the team Welcome to the Team!! I'm so excited to welcome you to my 2022-2023 Senior Rep Team! I can't wait to work with you this year! My goal is to make this experience as fun as possible. We'll get to know each other, have a blast and document your senior year in the coolest way possible. This program was launched in the Spring of 2019 as a way to help spread the word about my photography studio in local high schools in the area. In addition, this program allows me to build long-standing relationships with the girls + boys who are the backbone of my business. As a senior rep, you'll participate in several group editorial shoots and share your experiences with your friends via social media.
All you're required to do is book your senior portrait session with me during the 2022-2023 school year. When anyone you refer directly books and completes a senior session with me, you'll receive studio credits that you can use towards print products. This program is more than just pretty pics. I've always enjoyed using my business to give back to the community and my senior rep program is no exception. This year, we'll work together on a group volunteer activity and document every step of the process, too!

How does it work?

As a senior rep, you'll have the opportunity to participate in at least 3-4 creative shoots during the 2022-2023 school year - one of which is a celebration shoot that we do with caps and gowns as graduation approaches. Theses shoots will be themed, and some will include hair and makeup. You'll receive a gallery of lo res digital images from each shoot to share on social media! In addition to these shoots, you will receive a few headshots at our first meet-up. But what about YOUR shoot? As a senior rep, you're required to book your own private senior portrait session for the 20222023 school year. Your session must be
booked between May 2022 and April 2023. In order to participate in the group shoots, you must book a date for your own senior session prior to June 1, 2022 and pay a the $350 session fee to secure the date. As a rep, you get priority scheduling to make sure you get the season and date you want! If you don't secure your date by June 1st, I can't guarantee my availability for your date of choice. So what's in it for you? For every new senior client who uses your custom rep code when they inquire about a session through my website and book and pay their session fee, you will receive a $25 studio credit to use towards print products. The referring senior receives a $25 print credit as well.

SO, WHY SENIORS? When I first started my photo biz in 2017, I was a jack of all trades – I photographed families, newborns, weddings, kids, sports, events… you name it, I did it, but something about working with seniors was different. Maybe it was the fact that every shoot was wildly different or maybe it was the one-on-one connection, but there was something notably different. And one day it hit me… these senior portrait sessions were more than just photos. They were a genuine confidence boost for teens. As a teen, I struggled with self esteem, and wasn’t really sure where I fit in. I can only imagine how teens today feel now that social media exists. It’s amazing what a positive photo experience and gorgeous images can do for a teenager’s self esteem! In 2020 I shifted my biz to focus on teens and seniors and it was the best decision I’ve ever made.

WHAT DO I WEAR TO THE EDITORIAL SHOOTS?
As a rep, you are required to participate in at least 1 editorial shoot for the year. For most of the editorial shoots, Desiree will provide the main components of the wardrobe. She typically asks each rep to bring some basic pieces and accessories (shoes, jewelry, undergarments, etc). For shoots where the wardrobe isn't provided, Desiree will share an inspiration board to give you an idea of the vibe of the shoot. She will provide some general direction as to what she's looking for. No need to purchase outfits specific for the shoots - you should be able to work with what's already in your closet.

WHAT IF I DON'T REFER ANYONE?
As a DOP senior rep, you are not required to refer clients; however, referring clients means rewards for you and for them. For every senior you refer, you'll receive $25 in print credits, and so do they.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE MY OWN SESSION?
Your own session needs to be scheduled prior to June 1, 2022 to ensure that you get the first pick of the time of year and the day you want. Your session must be scheduled between May 2022 and April 2023. Your $350 session fee is required to reserve your date. If a conflict arises or there is bad weather, we will reschedule. Just text or email to start the process.

HOW DO YOU TRACK MY REFERRALS?
Every rep will be given a custom REP CODE after our first meet-up. They will also be given digital rep cards with this code on it to share with friends via text or on their socials. When seniors fill out the inquiry form on my website, there will be a section for them to enter their referring rep code. This must be entered in order for the rep to get credit. Desiree will total up all the referrals at the end of the year and send a print credit code that can be used on any DOP Print Products.
HOW DO I REDEEM STUDIO CREDITS?
At the end of the year (likely around late April), each rep who has earned credits will receive a print credit code to be entered at checkout from my online store (it's built right into your senior gallery). If you've accumulated a bunch of credits and would like to redeem sooner, you can. Desiree will be keeping a master sheet of all credits earned, and you're welcome to contact me anytime to check your balance. Reminder - a senior referral must enter your REP CODE when they complete their initial inquiry on the contact page on my website.

DOP
As a DOP Senior Rep, DOP will be your exclusive senior photographer for the 20222023 school year (excluding sports photography, yearbook, photography + any other modeling you may do for other brands).

Your Session All reps are required to book their senior portrait session with DOP between May 2022 - April 2023. In order to participate in the styled shoots, each rep must have their own senior portrait session scheduled by June 1, 2022 and pay a $350 session fee to hold their date. Should any conflicts arise, like illness, weather, etc, the date may be rescheduled .

Creative Shoots You are required to participate in at least 1 additional shoot throughout the course of the 2022-2023 school year. You will receive all low res digital images from all group shoots for sharing on social media.

Sharing + Perks You are encouraged to share your photos (both from your private session and any editorial shoots) to your personal social media accounts. You are responsible for tagging images using designated hashtags. For any senior that uses your custom rep code in their inquiry form when they book, you will receive $25 in print credits when they complete their session; they receive $25 in credits, too! It is requested that you use an image taken by DOP as your profile image on your socials for the year.

Shoot Day PROFESSIONAL STYLING Every senior session begins with make-up at my home studio. My team of licensed makeup artists will work to bring out your best features with makeup that is polished and natural.
CUSTOM EXPERIENCE After your make-up is complete, we'll head out to start shooting. Included with your session fee is up to 2 locations (within 10 miles of each other) and a maximum of 5 outfits. We'll have the day mapped out a few days prior with a solid plan to make sure we get all the shots you want.
NATURAL POSING One of the biggest questions I get is, "do I need to know how to pose for the camera?" And the answer is, "no!" I will guide you through all of the posing. My goal is for your photos to look natural and not forced or fake, so we'll do all the hair flips and model walks and we may even lay in the grass. I promise you'll leave with all the confidence in the world!
AFTER YOUR SESSION
SO NOW WHAT?
SNEAK PEEK I know you're so excited to see some of your photos after your session which is why I always share a sneak peek on social media within 24 hours of your session!
GALLERY DELIVERY Approximately 3 weeks after your session, you will receive a private online gallery with all of your images. These images will be lightly edited and watermarked.
COLLECTIONS After viewing your gallery you will select which collection best suits your needs (see page 18 for more details)
DELIVERY Once you've chosen and paid for your collection, I'll profesionally retouch all of your final selections and deliver your online gallery for download. All print orders are placed directly through your gallery. You can redeem any print credits through your gallery as well.

Thank you so much for allowing your child to be part of my 2022-2023 senior rep program. I'm so excited to get to know you all this year! Senior year is such an exciting time for seniors as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives. I want to help you document this special time through photos. My goal with this program is to be more than just your child's senior photographer; I hope to also be a mentor and positive influence in their life this year. I think it's so important for kids to have a strong sense of confidence. I am working hard to give this group one-of-a-kind experiences that will make them feel amazing about themselves. I want each of my reps to walk away with images they can't wait to share with their friends. In addition to photoshoots, we'll be working on a community service project together, too. While the reps are encouraged to share their images on social media, I'd love your support, too. If you're active on social media, you're welcome to share our images as well!
