The fonts of English are somtimes not neat. In order to improve this situationďźŒI want to frame them in a square.
When Chinese children start to learn writting, the teachers usually ask them to practice in a ç”° square.
Except the letter written within 3 steps (e.g. I, O and D), the structures of the other letters are more complicated. The simple triangle shape could not satisfy the need of creating a new font. Therefore, I added one more line to fulfill it.

The second version of LUO. It is the profile portait of the stylist. The lines are connected to each others, which is symbolized the connection of the brian to the eyes and nose and other sensory organs.

The 10th Anniversary Business Card Design for Prophet - Forsight Vision Marketing Company
The Prophet - Forsight Vision Marketing Company is a company mainly plans advertising campaigns for the real estate industry.
The number ten was abstracted into a house shape, which symbolized the idea of “real estate company�.
A three dimentianl wall apears if placing both sides of the business card together.
The triangle on the top of the back side symbolizes a chandelier to keep balance with the whole forum.
The paper materials chosed to print the business card were the same with the old version - kraft paper. The text information in the new business card was revised from the original one.

The Chinese Zotiac Design Oracle
The Shēngxiào (Chinese: 生肖), better known in English as the Chinese Zodiac, is a scheme that relates each year to an animal and its reputed attributes, according to a 12-year mathematical cycle. Today Chinese people always show the pictures or images of the animal that companied with its name to represent the zotiac of the year. While I consider about creating a figure which can represent both of the image and their Chinese names, the Oracle came to my mind. There are some types of the oldest character writing with pictures, one is Egyptian hieroglyphs, another one in China is Oracle. The oracle is the oldest Chinese characters that people put inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells to record things in Shang Dynasty. The figures of oracle are similar to paintings, so the oracles of the Chinese Zodiac, the 12 animals, are looking like paintings of these animals in some degrees. Sometimes it may be a representative part of the animal’s body rather than showing the whole complete body, for example, the horn of an ox. People in different dynasties adjusted the oracle a little bit. I searched hundreds of different ways of writing to fit my Zodiac symbols. The 12 ones on the right hand side are the final version I picked.
While the oracles are still too abstract to recognize for modern people in China. In order to make my Chinese zodiac easier to be recognized, I added some more strokes. For example, the tongue of snake.

The Recruit Tee Design for PGAC Photography and Graphic Arts Club

The word LENS in English has some meanings: one is an optical component that generating images of camera, one is a component of an eyeball. These two objects, camera and eye, are most important to a photographer. So in the design of the rescuit tee for Photography and Graphic Club, I picked up the word “lens�, and combined these two different images together. Then, two slogans of the club recuit activity were developed: We look for new LENS. / New visions bring new LENS.

A ssorted color style made the bear glassy and fragile, which overthrows the strong image of bear.
Because 受 and 獸 have a same phoneticize (pinyin) which is called shòu. It gave the world 忍 獸 a new meaning to satirize the slaughter activities, which means a tolerant bear.
The Major Uniform Design for PRA Public Relations and Advertising The first question I considered about is: How to shape these three letters ( P, R and A ) into one figure ? 1. Starting from the letter A, then came out the P and R which were similar to A. 2. Tried to put these three letters together. It became a triangle. 3. Tried to added some more lines to make it solid. 4. Used the same fundamental shape to letters M, J and O. 5. Added some colors to the solid triangle, finally it looked like a diamond.
Stamp Design for A Celebration of America Primary Education The theme of this set of stamps is to celebrate the America primary education, so the target group of people are primary school students. The painting style and the font were all adopted hand-painted ones, which created an impression that it seemed to be drawn by a child. I did not seperate the four topics (reading, writing, mathmatics and science), instead, I regarded them as parts of a child’s body to express the concept of training all - develop students. On the other hand, there were not other colors applied except the three primary colors (red, yellow and blue).

The whole set.
The name of the first album of British rock band Muse, my favorite one, is Showbiz. Showbiz is a complex society that beyond words that whoever hustle in it may face lots of frustrations. Joker, this image is one of the best allegories for them to me. Both of them put on tons of colors and decorations. They laugh forever and act exaggeratively to please audiences. That is the effects of perform requsted to achive. They lyrics of Showbiz show you the frustration:
